OK, its a rubbish card, buy the 6850 that will be out in 2 months for £110!*

*Did my mind tricks work?

It's a rubbish card? It's better then any ATI card priced around the same area.

These are great budget cards

Its an amazing card- I've had it a few weeks. This is only a max of £10 more than usual price but it's a steal. Playing crysis very high detail at 1080p!

Please note for this specific card you need a PSU with an 12v ampage of at least 24a. It also requires 2 x 6 pin pci-e adapters, although includes a 2xmolex to pci-I plug which means technically all you need is two spare molex plugs and 1 spare 6 pin pci-e

Hopefully that'll help someone as I ended up needing to buy a new psu!

Also, av forums account holders give free delivery.

I think it's calle sarcasm ;)

maybe so... but this is a very good card for the money I score over 1100 points on heaven benchmark which is good for such a budget card I think.

I read the title and didn't understand a single bit other than £122.

Voted cold.

Its a devise to make your cat poo out gold nuggets.. Well worth the money, if you got a fat cat that poos a lot.
(As seen in the pic it can give the cat wings too, and makes that face when pooing)

very good card and definately the best bang for buck card on the market!! the asus direct CU heatsink is also very, very good and is quieter and cooler than the stock heatsink (just google some reviews). its been nice watching this drop pound by pound down to an excellent price :D!
#14
Great price !! I paid nearly £200 for the 1GB Gainward version (overclocked to 800), but these cards are supposed to be very overclockable (is that a word ?). Mine plays Crysis on full at 1650 with no problem.

Heaven benchmark results need to be taken with a pinch of salt when running it on Nvidia's new GPU's, due to the way the Nvidia cards switch pipelines that would normally be used for rendering to tasselation instead (and unlike regular games/benchmarking tools, Heaven relies heavily on tasselation).

That being said, this is still a great card for the price.

Was cheaper here http://www.ginger6.com/palit-768mb-pcie-p-35283.html?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Shopping but now sold out, looks like these cards are cheap due to new ones coming out soon.

That's a Palit model which comes with 2 years warranty and the Asus comes with 3 years.

Reason they are cheap is nVidia trying to recapture some of the customers lost to ATi bang for buck card the 5770... now they have the bang for buck card but your correct, ATi are releasing new cards shortly.
#22
The only reason went for a Palit over this partcular model was that the Palit comes with a fullsize HDMI port...
#23
great price for great card. i have two of the gigabyte 1gb models which run amazinlgy in sli.

also any cards that say mini hdmi normally come which a small adapter which allows normal sized hdmi to be plugged in so dont let that put you off.

they a great price also for an SLi build. paid £166 for each of mine. I got a 3dmark vantage score of 15,700 with my old ati 5850 (costing £216) but an amazing 30,700 with my gigabytes (costing £335). an incredible performance boost for the extra cost.

and yes overclockable is a word :D

lol suprised you replied after such a owning
#27
According to this months edition of Custom PC AMD/ATI currently have a larger share of the 'discrete graphics' card market than Nvidia. I guess they are fighting back by making their prices competitive.
#28
very good card , i just got it, compare to my GTS250 its brilliant perform , especially in Dx11
#29
getting it on monday :) ...
thanx OP, i really didn't need it :p

anyway what made me go for this one was the better stock cooling originaly was thinking of going for palit at 115£ and getting better cooller which voids the waranty but for 7£ more a descent cooler already installed can't go wrong, voted hot.

now just need to figure out how to stop the front panel of my case vybrating unless its hold in place...
