Came across this whilst browsing mobile phones

Deal includes Nokia 3310 with 300mins per month and 100mb of data over a 12-month period. Okay so the data amount is pretty awful but for a fixed fee of £79.99 for the 12 months, seems like an okay deal for an elderly person/emergency phone/spare phone etc etc.

On top of this, if anyone in the household is a Virgin Media customer, you also get unlimited calls to Virgin mobiles

IMPORTANT: Virgin Media increases prices every July "The charge for your airtime plan will increase with your July bill each year. Any increase will be in line with the retail Price Index (RPI) rate of inflation announced in the April before and we’ll always give you 30 days’ notice of the exact increase each year." so not too sure if there may be a slight increase next month as this plan usually costs £4/mnth

On virgin media site, under mobile section then where the banners are, this deal is posted. Have tried (unsuccessfully) multiple times to amend link but it keeps going to an expired deal

Expired deal as Virgin sold out of both red and blue versions. Personally I thought £79.99 total for a phone, 300mins/mnth and 100mb/mnth for 12 months was good but hey, what do I know judging by peoples votes?

I think the reason it's cold is because this kind of usage (data) isn't enough for anyone these days, and if it is you don't need a contract as you'd be better off on PAYG and not comitted for 12 months.

I guess cold also because it's Virgin. Not sure about others but they were not a good experience for me.

100mb isn't going to last five minutes for a flagship heavy user but for a feature phone that has a basic browser/twitter/FB this might just do someone while they are out of the house. £80 for a year Inc a phone is pretty good imho.

Not sure why people are commenting on the small data package when this phone won't use any as it's not a smartphone

OOS and not even on contract phones only as pay as you go! Cold i'm afraid
