Have they finished refurbing the seafront yet?

Point of fact - the beach is so flat that it takes about a half a mile to get into deep water and they used to land/take off in airplanes on the beach back in the 30's

Before the bizzies stepped in, there were impromtu drag races on the beach too.

Excellent reviews (well mostly, except for a few in Nov/Dec) here: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g191255-d1198207-Reviews-Ramada_Plaza_Southport-Southport_Merseyside_England.html

can anybody confirm if it's £79 for TWO people. I have bought the voucher however on this it says that it entitles "the bearer" which would suggest to me only one person - nowhere on the voucher does it mention it being for two people.
Sorry if i'm being dense!

It does state on the homepage, .... 'This kgbdeal includes a two-night stay in a luxury double room for two people, plus breakfast' .... so I assume its for 2 people. Although on the left on the homepage and in posting #1, it states 1 voucher per person, so its a bit confusing. Best ring up for peace of mind. I will hang on until I know. When is the latest you can book for? Also, does it include weekends and bank holidays?

:)

Have used this type of deal before via KGB & it s 7 days a week & the voucher lasts 5 months. The deal is for a dobble room with breakfast each morning for 2.
It is first come first served & weekends tend to go fast.

Sorry where is the voucher?

Echo the point that if you want to get to the sea you'll need to walk over at least a mile of sand first whilst dodging the odd racer.
And dont be tempted to walk to blackpool over the sand as your likely to come across some quick sand (Im not kidding) - Not that anyone in their right mind would want to go to Blackpool these days.

Just a word of warning...
So you buy the voucher for £79 only to ring the hotel and find none of the dates you wanted are available.
Or you ring the hotel first and the dates you want are available but by the time you buy your voucher the dates are gone.

Good price at first glance, but i'll give it a miss due to the risk of required dates not being available.
