shabby hotels, rancid locations (wigan, hull telford lol) and cavetats galore make this a rotten, cold deal.

Why rubbish the deal just because you don't like the area.

Constantly amazed at the comments placed on this site, it is supposed to be a bargain hunters site and yet is plagued by snobs such as Mascherano, do me a favour return to your ivory tower in Windsor.

Nah, it's just I'm 24 so not relevant for persons like me and an unusual T&C to have bearing in mind the drinking age is 18!

Good deal, you get what you pay for so goodness knows why everyone's expecting 5star luxury, you pay £60 odd for a travelodge on some nights so this is excellent!

Obviously this chain considers that people cease to be chavs on their 25th birthday. Ridiculous condition.

The use of the word 'lol' tells you all you need to know about the imbecilic nature of the poster

Some good locations there...the Clitheroe hotel overlooking the Ribble Valley is a prime example

Hot deal. Cheers

£79 for a weekend in a bedsit full of binge drinking chavs? no thanks, not when i paid £88 quid for 5 days in a peaceful log cabin in Cornwall. Each to their own ey.

hubby and i took advantage of this deal last time it was on offer. No binge drinking chavs, nice hotel, lovely staff, we felt thoroughly spoilt and had a lovely weekend, so thankyou for posting.

Oh well, i've booked a shabby hotel in rancid Wigan. Better than staying at home and cooking and cleaning all weekend. Voted hot from me :0)

Spaceinvader - can you give details of peaceful log cabin in Cornwall please? Sounds good

So me and my wife, babysitter permitting, can turn up, eat lunch, snooze, eat dinner, drink (albeit suspect house wine), sleep, eat a full English, go visit Chester castle, culture blah blah, dinner, drink, snuggle, sleep and then do it all again the next day for £160. Sounds great. Ok, its not Soneva Fushi, but it sounds like good honest fun to me.

Cool which hotel did you stay at this is more me ?

My Husband and I partook of this deal last year and stayed at the Clitheroe hotel. We had an absolutely lovely time. The food was very good, the free drinks were not as bad as expected...and we couldn't fault it.
If anyone is considering booking this deal...please do not listen to what some of the posters on here are saying, as they obviously have no experience of this at all.
Book and enjoy.

"Choose from 10 hotels across the UK"
Erm, no - choose from 10 hotels across Englandshire ....
#27
None in scotland then?
#28
Scottish hotels too classy maybe?
#29
Maybe it's because we only do full scottish breakfast up here!

We did one of these last year and had a wonderful time. The hotel at Telford was gorgeous, fair enough not in the best area but we just lazied around the hotel and went out in the car.<3

Why does it come up as £158 for two nights? what if i am in a double room alone? This was based on the lovely royal in Hull ;)

Is there a way to get the £79 for two nights?

We did this last year at the Wolverhampton Goldthorn hotel--it was great. We went on the Sunday-went to the huge boot sale nearby-then checked in hotel. I had asked for an upgrade to the 4 poster room when i booked--and we got it! Lovely room--the food was fantastic--we struggled to eat it all--the house wine was great and the beer good.We had a lazy time--used the swimming pool at hotel and generaly had a good time-- for the money couldnt do better.
#34
Can't get hull down to same price for two nights like poster above... I give up
#35
You people are not trying to get 2 nights for 2 people for £79 are you? It's £79 pp, therefore £158.
#36
well worth the £158 for the 2 of us for the two nights--we have paid far more just for B+B in worse places.

Booked for me hubby and 2 of our friends, 2 nights for 4 of us all inclusive £316 bargain, peaceful weekend away fromthe children heaven,is there a set time for the drinks? And is it an automatic upgrade or should i call the hotel ?
#38
you get lunch on day of arrival--which we hadnt realised and had a sandwich out before we got there! so missed out on the free luch first dat--second day we had soup and sandwich-very nice--Tea coffee and soft drinks are free all day, 7pm -11pm free wine and beer-you can only have one glass at a time!
you need to ring the hotel or email them and ask for the upgrade-it is included in the deal though--but someone had said in reviews 4 poster room was nice so i was cheeky and asked for that--they did say they couldnt promise but we had it--away from other rooms--nice and private ;-)

[I would love the details of your lovely log cabin retreat in cornwall please, just love cornwall anytime, thanks and looks like a good bargain to me unlike some, and Clitheroe overlooking the Ribble Valley too, cheers
