Not compataqble with Windows 7 according to description
#2
- This device has no such restrictions in fact you can hook it up to any computer you come across and put the files directly on the device ( NO iTunes REQUIRED)
- Personal Mass Storage. Work like a Flash Memory Storage
- Supports Windows Vista/XP/2000/98, Mac OS 10.3 above

Pretty sure it would work with Win 7

It wont.

One thing I've learned from 7dayshop, is that if it says it works with Win7, then theres a slight chance it actually will work. If it doesnt say Win7 compatible, then theres not a chance in hell.

got a similar one from dealextreme which uses microsd cards so has an advantage over this ones fixed storage but mine was about $3 delivered, though card extra so about same priceish

I never had a problem with 7dayshop, the reviews take me by surprise.....Ordered different items at different times, always a great service.

Just to let you know you can avoid the card / currency conversion charges on DX by paying by Paypal.

Hi

I bought a couple of these - had to send them back! Both charged up ok & played fine, thought I had a bargain. Neither would recharge properly, only working for a few minutes max. Had a refund :(

Agreed. I think they're excellent based on my consumer experiences to date. I'd recommend 7dayshop without hesitation.

You got lucky. Had a batch of faulty wireless adapters from them, and after constant emails etc to support got no response. Delivery is great, customer service is awful.

likewise never had any problems with purchases , but cant comment on this item though

I have used 7dayshop many, many times over the years. I would say that 99% of transactions are great, however they are not very good at letting you know if items are out of stock / delayed.

Overall a recommended seller, if not one of the best for customer service IF things go wrong,

As for the item, it states:

"Personal Mass Storage. Work like a Flash Memory Storage"

.. so I would be extremely surprised if this did not work under Windows 7, even though it does not explicitly say so. As for the quality of the item itself, I can't imagine a 4GB player for £8 will be much good, but as I have never seen one or used one it is not really fair for me to comment!

He means his micro sd card and his one was just a memory card plug in

I got one of these off eBay last year from a Chinese seller. Broke within a few weeks and so did the replacement. Didn't bother sending it back after the second one broke as the postage was almost as much as the player cost!!

I guess they're a bit fragile so not suited to taking about with you or to the gym - might be best just sitting in your car plugged into the stereo. Shouldn't be a problem getting it replaced by 7dayshop though, if it does break..

I have a very similar looking device which came from ebay (looks identical) and whilst it is cheap, the sound quality is awful, and the volume pretty quiet. I tried using decent headphones, but it didn't make much of a difference! I use mine for jogging, so it doesn't bother me too much, but just a heads up

Low volume I think is common to all new players due to a stupid EU directive to prevent the hooded ones amongst us making their ear drums bleed !!
