Not hating on your post because its good, but the A** hole who thought this up. Why carry around a smart phone and then a keyboard????? sounds totally daft to me.......... whats next a 15" screen to accompany the keyboard

No Android support????? Grrrrrrrr

At least it's better than the offical sony text pad that has to connected to the actual PS3 controller and it's probably cheaper!!! But agree about the Smartphone issue......X)

Tempted, but what I really want is a Logitech Dinovo. It's just that they are so expensive!

Looks very much like the one from FocalPrice, posted about a month ago:

Mini Compact Bluetooth 2.0 Keyboard for iPad/iPhone 4.0 OS/PS3/Smart Phone/PC/HTPC (Black) 11.08 @ FocalPrice

Discussion on Page 3 about getting it to work with Android (and I haven't got any better idea of the best way to do it yet).

Strikes me as pointless - why not just get a Blackberry?

So you hold the phone in one hand, the keyboard in the other. What do you use to type with? As I see it you've got two viable appendages. One means you won't be able to see what you're typing and the other is not an option if you're female and liable to get you arrested anyway if you do any texting in the street.

I'm a budget - but I would actually use a mini bluetooth keyboard for lectures, to quickly type notes on my mobile phone (instead of buying a laptop for simple notes). However the keys on the product here looked a big cramped to be useful for touch typing

The keys aren't arranged for touch typing, either, since they are positioned in a grid format. This will make a nice occasional keyboard for my Acer Revo without cluttering up the place.

DO NOT BUY FROM 7DAYSHOP, THEY ARE NOT SHIPPING ORDERS FOR WEEKS, USE SOME OTHER WEBSITE

I think the point of these was for smartphone users in the heyday of Windows Mobile. Back then smartphones were aimed at business users and were often used to type up meeting notes etc. Having a larger bluetooth keyboard just made it a more comfortable experience, it wasn't really designed to be used on the go. If anyone remembers the palm pilot era they will know what I'm talking about.

Can anyone else confirm if 7dayshop are having issues shipping products?

I have one of these - connection etc all works perfectly, but it's utterly horrid to type on. I use it with my PS3 and to be honest, it's almost no better than picking out letters with the on-screen keyboard and a dualshock. (Also the lack of PS3 keys (X, O, square, triangle) mean you have to keep the dualshock in the other hand anyway).

Are they really that bad? I'm using some wireless Technika keyboard, it's just huge for PS3 use!

Mine arrived yesterday. It's tiny and thinner than you might think. About 7mm thick and weighs next to nothing.

The keys are very spongey and take some effort to depress, so no quick typing of any sort. For what I need it for, it's an acceptable trade off, but only just.
