Got one just for myself since display is fading in and out now [5 years old now]

Brilliant watches, do the job and no need to worry about damage or theft because they are so cheap. Batteries last year's and they keep time brilliantly also. I would never choose another watch.

bike lights are essential but this design is SO much less effective than the silicone ones that were on here last week.

£4.79 for three front and three back lights. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/3-pack-silicone-bike-lights-super-bright-3-mode-led-bicycle-lights-front-rear-set-2689664

Less effective at what? Those are good as "see me" lights, but poor for lighting the road ahead (as confirmed by actual users on the thread you link to) and the front light here should be SO much more effective for that.

I have a similar set to this with the rear light on constant mode, then I have the Knogg version of those silicone ones on my helmet and bike in various places on flashing mode.

Since these take AAAs, many will find this set more convenient to use with own rechargeables.

P.s it's the same OP in both desks and I've given heat to both.

Bargain, I paid £32 for this a few years ago from Amazon (Technoline branding).
The Technoline is a better charger. I've had both and it's obviously that the 7dayshop is a cheap copy (same as all the other chinese branded ones). This is a good product, especially for less than £13, but the Technoline is significantly better in both build and features.
Technoline must be also made in China. What features does it have that the 7dayshop doesn't?

I'm sure that must be the case. Most of the copies do use random Chinese brand names, was all I meant.

The differences I see are -

1) Overall it's slightly larger and batteries have more room to breath, less issues with overheating, although 200mA charging on the 7dayshop has never been an issue.
2) It can charge many batteries that the 7dayshop ones say are dead/null. I have never had to bump charge a battery for the Technoline.

Apart from that, I think the only difference is the build quality, on the outside that's sturdier, soft touch vs cheap hard plastic, I don't know about internal build differences, there must be some as it definitely performs differently.

That photo is heavily edited.
These tiny low powered lights are more or less invisible.

The 7DS ones are also not very waterproof, they corrode inside and fail quite quickly if rained on. I also find they are too directional, in that the brightness drops off very quickly if you are not looking directly down the beam. So if not perfectly aligned, they are almost non-existent.
Yes - I'm confused too. How many lights do you get for £4.79?

if you are using a few spread out e.g one.on helmet, and in flash mode they are good for getting you seen by a motorist who might be pulling out otherwise. as others have said no good for actually lighting a dark road.

Jasee - do you have these headphones?
No I don't, sorry, one of the most important points is the fit. For which you really need to try them. I'm going by the revues. I have Sennheisers. Seven day shop through Amazon should take them back free. I've just spoken to Seven Day Shop and apparently you'll have to pay postage if you send them back to them (if you bought them from them) if you are returning them just because you don't like them
The main negative is remembering to switch off the bluetooth and the noise reduction (apparently)
My Sennheisers were about six times the price for non bluetooth!

I don't understand why people are going crazy about this charger....These are worst of all so called "smart" chargers I have seen. Second worst is Xtar VC4. They just looks good with all these displays, voltage control , etc...but they wont charge batteries to full, wont charge dead batteries and sometimes fail to charge even good batteries.
The one I have bought in Lidl 7 years ago is best of cheap ones and cost me less than half price mentioned here.
Got one of these. Not charging dead batteries is a real frustration. Will have to get a USB charger as suggested above, thanks.

I've found the USB battery chargers you get from the likes of Poundland/world are excellent for jump starting a totally flat cell - the ones from Ikea also work to a point but they're not as dumb as the pound shop examples. Handy considering they don't take up much room and these SC1000's have a USB port.
I have one of these, I've had no issues with mine but the only criticism I have is the display is hard to read, it should really have a backlight.
Hello can it charge C or D cell Battery's with the AA Adaptor's ?
Any Help would be greatly appreciated before I purchase.
You could possibly charge a D or C cell by buying a C/D battery holder and attaching the positive and negative wires to terminals on a dummy AA battery and then place the dummy cell in the charger - it'll cost you a couple of quid but it should possibly work.
Why not take the AAs out of the adaptors?
I assumed the poster was wanting to charge their D/C cells in a charger designed for AA/AAA cells.
Yes that's correct using these from Ebay (link below )I no that other similar chargers can do this anyone got this charger like more information if someone can help.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201812851076?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It might work, I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work but I've never used those adapters with this charger so I cant really say for sure.
the vc4 does Li-Ion cells too.

Lidl currently have four packs of 950mAh AAA for £2.99.

I'm starting to dislike Duracell after two recent leaks from their Alkaline batteries made a mess of my remote controls.

The shop you've linked has plenty of other 750mAh and above LSD AAA batteries for less than this. Their own brand is 2/3 the price.

I couldn't find tests on any of them, but these duracell models are nothing special so you're clearly not after the best possible battery.

Buy a decent charger for these - they deserve it. One of these should suit very well:https://www.7dayshop.com/products/7dayshop-pro-series-intelligent-lcd-aa-aaa-nimh-and-18650-li-ion-battery-charger-multismart-3000-wh2-ds-225https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Household-Batteries-Battery-Chargers/XTAR-VC4-Battery-Charger/B01D8464S6/
The XTAR may well be available more cheaply elsewhere, but the Multismart 3000 can only be obtained from 7DayShop - though there are similar ones (usually dearer).
Good chargers but you don't need to spend anywhere near that amount for a decent charger. Littokala is a pretty good budget brand from GearBest.
It's Liitokala for anyone wanting to follow that up - but the ones that do the job properly seem very little, if any cheaper.

Fair point, I was looking at the 2 bay vs the 4 bay. Not really a fair comparison.

COLD,
It was cheaper down the Sunday market in the 80's ;)
I know that's tongue in cheek and I'm churlish for evening saying it but the F-91W is a child of the 90's, in retro 80's clothes.

Can't imagine where they'd get that idea.

Just in case anyone is thinking of buying these for their kids, they will pick up CB's and taxis, some of the language coming through can be quite colourful. oO
They were bought for my daughter by her Uncle, I have since made them 'disappear'. They should be great for anyone that doesn't mind swearing though.

If you mean - can the world time function automatically change as you visit different countries or time zones? Then, no.

They are mostly pre-programmed into the watch, so you'll need to press a button to view the time in another country / time zone on the digital display.

It's so politically correct here since the mods are always removing any critical comment or banning people at will. Wouldn't be surprised if this comment gets removed...

Great for power users, not that great for more casual users.
Not bad

Does anyone know how the bass is for the wireless one?
Have to say I've mainly used mine for films but been very happy with them, solidly made and more than loud enough for use on planes (where the nc really shines). Can't go wrong for the money, I don't fly that often but enough to that I wanted some nc headphones and these have been brilliant, had my wireless ones about 2 years now and they've been perfect

These are really good value and the noise cancelling works well. Not Bose but very good value.

Isn't that what the OP said?
Supposed to be todays top deal -
Just £21.79 + delivery RRP £28.59 (Save 24%). I paid a lot more than this 3 years ago.
Great value headphones, worth getting the wireless ones.

Out of stock
Taken the plunge - my hearing aint what it used to be and now living in a bungalow with a wife who likes her sleep I'm finding it increasingly difficult to hear the TV on low volume (so as not to wake her!). I believe i also need a bluetooth adapter for the TV which I have seen on Amazon. Heat added.
Anyone got these?

I'm looking for decent Bluetooth headphones with good battery life

I'd rate this as the best noise hair trimmer I've ever had. Still going good after 2 years.
my old Philips NT3160/10 Nose Hair Trimmer broke today, this Panasonic seems a much better option
