so cold by the voters who cant write, whats wrong with this price??

VAT and possibly Customs duty not included and it looks like the grotty 7" Android 1.6 resistive screen tablet Maplin and others were trying to flog before Christmas to rather poor reviews.

Not voting as I don't know enough about it, but the reviews suggest it's unreliable and only runs Android 1.6

I have been looking about for an E Reader thats affordable but i dont know anything about tablets etc so i will watch this space.

Looks like standard China tat, something that Ashens would review.

Lots of similar 7" Android 1.6 tablets on DealExtreme around the $93 mark so a similar price really.
Not voting either way though - these things look totally unusable

Screen res and Android 1.6 is enough to put me off for now. Not voting, as already admited to being a noob and five minutes on Google won't change that.

Google have said 2.2 isn't designed for tablets and 1.6 is outdated, wait for something better than this even if you dont want to shell out for an ipad

Then you should get an E-Ink device :). These TFT devices are very hard to read outside and can give you eye strain. The only problem is proper E-Readers are very specific in their usage and aren't much cop at anything but E-Books; the Kindle is the best value for money at the moment.

I remember reading that tablets were going to be big this year so ereaders will become less popular. But i found this neat piece of kit.http://ebookreaderworld.co.uk/sovos-svebk5b-colour-ebook-ereader-700-ebooks/
