Worth noting that this account could arbitrarily be reduced to 6.25% tomorrow (one percent above base rate), and that the premier account isn't a great account, it's not even A&L's best account. Though, if you're living on the edge a bit (who isn't!?), the 12 months free overdraft could be useful :)

Absolutely. I had £600 overdraft free for 12 months automatically, but you have to put in £500 every month.

Beware, A&L never pays Quidco! I had my account opened for 6 months now, never see any Quidco payment from A&L. :x

I thought I was the only one who didn't get their Quidco :whistling:

I have had loads of quidco from A&L including 80 quid for a 1000 loan that was cancelled with 14 days and no interest charged :)

MMM A&L, I applied for a loan today, Internet rate showing 6.4 via Quidco and £66 cash.... all went well, completed internet forms and had a confirmation email within 2 mins.... after a long slog stating I didn't want protection etc etc she said I could have the loan but a 9.6%, mile over the 6.4% advertised....not a happy bunny....
