Wow cheers, just ordered one!
#2
Great price:) - my R265 printer wont recognise any other than Epson cartidges unfortunately, but would this work?
#3
Tempted to get one for my RX425, but i think i need to de-clog the heads first!
#4
The one for the R265 is here at £12.93 delivered which is still a bargain at that price.

Um, isn't delivery an extra £1.95 - or am I doing something wrong?
#6

You're quite correct, price should be altered to £8.27.

Still a great deal.
#8
The free delivery option has disappeared !
But even at the new price of £8.27 the system is a bargain considering the ink alone comes at about £1.50 for 100mls in most dealers.
I shall edit the price to reflect the new price.

great price :-D

top price ordered myself 5 along with some ink and other things

cheers to op heat and rep added

would strongly advise anyone not to buy one of these, i got one for £8 last time some place was doing a deal it ended up breaking the brother printer i had as the ink poured out into the printer and all over the pc it was sat on top of. I ended up having to buy a new printer. I realise many people may have used these without issue but my experience was a costly one!
#12
Agree I bought one for a canon and it was fiddly to fix and never really worked properly still if you fancy proving me wrong its probably worth it for the ink alone although as above messes can be expensive.

I have CISS for my Epson RX560 - not sure if it is made by the same company though?. I have had it about 6 months with no issues at all. I was worried about the reports of ink leaks but read up and googling a few videos regarding refilling and fitting I have not had any leaks yet :) - I paid much more than these prices so this deal is very hot !!
#14
The instructions for these CISS are usually very basic so I would take a look at a few online videos.

Mine came already filled with ink but had a few air bubbles in most of the lines. This was not an issue after following the video below :-

{Edit - these may not be exactly the same so please check 1st!! }

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li0w1s-n63c&feature=related

Hope this helps anyone (Top Tip : also listen to the comment at the very end of the video re: not pushing air back in from the syringe - this helps prevent leaks from the cartridge).
#15
I've fitted one of these units and it was a little "fiddly" but has otherwise been fine for a few months now.

Just remember to take your time when fitting and be gentle - and it should give you no problems.
#16
thanks, ordered some black botteled ink - £ 1.75, no delivery.

never had a problem with any cis ive had and ive had loads i currently have 5 printers running off them which is why i bought 5 of these ones either as spares or may change them all

ink should only leak into printer loads if you have the cis higher then the cartridges
#18
non official ink gives less light fastness and possible colour differences if you get the cheap stuff. going with somebody like Lyson inks is ok, for everything else it's a false economy, just get them printed onto c4 stock at an online printer. if you are doing B&W printing just get a laser for about £40.

There's CIS's for other printers too.
I ordered for my Epson RX425.

I am also using the £5 sealed ebay cartridges too and perfectly happy but this does seem hot to me.
#21
Paid £30 for mine. Hassle to set up and occasionally has a wobbly but overall reccomended.
#22
Can someone tell me where we can buy these printers? ive bought the recent epson, they are very unreliable compared to the older gens!
#23
Might sound like a silly question, but do you have to buy ink on top of this for the first time or does this come with some inks too?
#24
I voted cold because been on here before just another re-run thred post.
#25
I used this for my Epson printer and it totally ruined the nozzles.

I wouldn't go near this again!

" I voted cold because been on here before just another re-run threAd post "
Having done a search NO posts came up as hits. If you can find one cheaper then please post it for us.
To the ink question above - the unit comes with ink filled ready and the 80mls is aprox the equivalent of 5 cartridges.
You have lots of stories about people not having installed these properly - having the bottles above the printer so the ink syphons out is one.
You also have people moaning that generic cartridges have blocked their print heads etc. The thousands of people without any problems would disagree and I have personnaly had a Epson block up with genuine cartridges ( it had been left for a month idle due to a holiday! ).
Having used a CISS system for about 2 years with no problem I can only speak as I find.
#27
I add this site to my favourites about a year ago from hotdeals uk I think this price been ever since unless someone else prove me wrong this is why I voted cold has been on before!.
#28
its a shame its not for a epson rx700 been trying to find a cheap ciss system for imast all christ
#29
Please post the link to the previous posting or post a cheaper price.

Great deal, with most of these products, if you're careful, you hardly ever go wrong. Use decent ink as mentioned above plus take precautions like sticking the refill system onto the printer (use no more nails/substitute as superglue does not last), and this product will last years!

Personally, I would only recommend using these if your printer is more than 1year old, that way you have had decent service from it, your warranty is expired and considering the price of original inks, you have nothing to lose.

I wanted to actually buy a spare after seeing this hot deal, they seem to be out of stock.

i only stick to r300s but they are like gold really and cost more for very used ones then it does for newer new printers
#32
Thank you. Ordered for my old R200.
#33
good price for this

#34
I got these last time round

I must say I have had no problems with the system at all.

I am mighty impressed with the quality of the prints (just as good as the origionals) only been using for about 4months so I can not comment on the 'fastness' of the colour but to me its HOT
#35
Has anyone who ordered these have received it yet. I ordered my on 04/01/2010 and was dispatched on the same day but I have not rceived it yet.
#36
Rubbish supplier. 1 week after ordering and receiving an email saying the product has been dispatched I now get an email stating they have insuffucient stock so have cancelled and refunded. Won't be ordering from them again.
