I was tempted (out of boredom mainly) by Bankshot Billiards 2 on xbox live arcade, but then I found this gem for a tenth of the cost!

It's a simple pool game, simple and fun. I work out the cost to be 96p max!

There is of course also the option to try out the trial first.

It's an indie game so there's no achievements of course.

Aren't all Indie games 80points? Might be wrong and can't check but I seem to remember last time I looked (a while ago!) that's how much they all were?
#6
They vary, but they can be up to 400 points.

This isn't on an offer or anything, it's just particularly impressed me for the price, and compared to the equivalent main arcade offering :)

Fair enough, might give it a go - keep meaning to look at the indie games again ;)

I tried the demo of this, it is worth the points no question about it, but it isnt no Bankshot Billiards..

Just wondering for those who have the game...
I know it says
with 4 player party mode, and cooperative play against the computer.

but does that mean multiplayer over the net, or just locally?

Not really a deal tbh as thats its standard price.

Yeah i could post a dozen 80 point indie games worth the money - doesnt really make them a deal. More like a tin of spam.

Exactly. Or just post anything @ its RRP.

Cracking little game, but agree with the above, it's the standard release price so no deal to be found here.

On a side note the dev is considering making a sequel and adding online play and avatar support, will be 240 points if he gets it made but worth it I think.

There are loads of games in the indie Market that are 80MSP. This is barely news.

no cheeves - no dice.

if you want to spend 80 points then get ''i made a game with zombies in it'' now thats the best game on the indies.

The most widely advertised maybe, but if you want to single out a classic 80 pointer then it surely has to be Apple Jack?

There are infact tons of great Indie games(many of which are 80 points), you just have to trawl through all the rubbish in order to find them, Radian Games and Arkedo Series are good devs to start with, both have several great games.

Anyway, despite all the heat I voted cold on this deal, purely on the basis it isn't a deal.

I bought this about a week ago. The game itself is alright but there is issues with it.

No forward, backward or side spin.
On fouls only potting the white or the opponants balls seems to count, ie u intentionally foul on table and you dont seem to be penalised. No 2 shots (brit rules) or one shot but free ball(usa rules), you just take your shot from where the white ended up. Going by the pocket sizes it should be british rules me thinks, but it would be cool to have the choice.
Not able to setup the best 3,5,7,9 frames etc you just reload the game.
The only way i could get the comp to break was to tap the white and intentionally foul.
