This is good, site looks strangely the same as the magazine group which give £5.80 I think inquidco, what do WHSmith give in quidco the same?

My wife ordered Radio Times before now and £4.80 tracked with the magazine group and is the same as this offer, wonder if both companies are the same.

Heat added. These deals if you use online banking are simple to cancel direct debit.

Payment: Direct Debit - 3 issues for £1 followed by £12.49 every 6 issues??

can you cancel this?

On the mens health do you have to cancel after 3 months or do you only get 3 issues for a quid and thats it?

Thanks for that, well as a heads up then to people, if the magazine group are still doing 8 issues for a quid then quidco tracks better with that as they give £5.80 for these subscriptions.

Ah good, its still on then over at The Magazine group.

I wonder though even though they are the same group as whsmith whether WHsmiths have different offers in the trail £1 magazines as I have noticed lately there seems to be diminishing ones offered over at the magazine group. They are always great for taking out to get quidco alone!.

Thanks decided to go for the redio times since we have sky now and what's on tv doesn't really help anymore very small print for some channels.

Magazine Group is owned and managed by 3PM Ltd, 30 Cleveland Street, London W1T 3JD. - http://www.threepm.co.uk/

"If you want to sell more subscriptions to your magazines, make sure they're listed with 3PM. As the UK's biggest online subscription agency, we can put your title in front of over 50,000 people a week. In 2007, publishers received over 100,000 paid subscriptions via 3PM. And because you're only charged for orders we generate, you can get listed with no upfront costs."

Not the same company as WHSmith but they've obviously agreed to work together.

You don't always get the Quidco payment on cancelled "trial" subscriptions.
#14
In fact I read from the same site that WHSmith receive Quidco-like affiliate payments for every subscription through their site...
#15
i had trials for magazines like this last year t hrough topcashback and cashback extreme and the cashback payments were both cancelled when i cancelled the direct debits-so don't bank on the cashback from quidco-it might work out for you-but might not !
#16
I had a similar magazine trial a year or so ago for Total Film I think it was. £7 quidco cashback was paid, and that was despite cancelling after the trial period finished.
#17
Quidco didnt pay out on my last one but some good deals no less:thumbsup:

ive subscribed to this mag a few times and IMHO its basically the same stuff , diets ,routines ,adverts , etc every issue just worded slightly different with slightly different pics.. i got so bored with it . theres nothing groundbraking or compulsive about it.
the only good thing is the routines and diets do work for the average guy and you can look like a front cover if you eat STRICT and i mean strict !!!! and the training is PROGRESSIVE each week (only small amount increases is all thats needed otherwise too much too soon and you will overtrain /get injured 0r progress stagnate.)

This deal sucks, buy it through http://www.magazine-group.co.uk via quidco and get £5.80 back and the deals are exactly the same! :?
#21
I subbed to the Radio Times through Magazine Group last year. Quidco tracked and was paid at £4.80 (must have gone up £1 since!)

The first couple of issues were delivered without any problems and then we cancelled pretty early into the trial period just incase we forgot to do so later down the line.

However after cancelling we found that some weeks we didn't get a mag at all until eventually they stopped coming altogether and that was well before the trial period had finished.

A few years ago that would have mattered but these days ITV have all but scrapped the regional franchises and local programming in a bid to cut costs and sell more advertising - hence the name "ITV1".

The only times we ever here the names "Granada", "Yorkshire" or "Tyne Tees" these days is for about half an hour a day on the regional news.

Most TV listing mags used to do a seperate edition for every region, these days you're lucky to just get a "North" or a "South" edition at best.

How they get away with still calling themselves "Independant" Television is beyond me!

They don't pay any cashback on Radio Times
