8 Duracell AA Batteries - BOGOF - and Price Reduction £4.99 to £3.50 @ Sainsburys

£3.50 @ Sainsbury's
Hope that makes sense. Ok, these are quite often on a BOGOF deal, but the price reduction knocks another 30% off as well. Basically it works out at 16 batteries for £3.50 or less than 22p per … Read More

Seems a great deal. How long before the recharge brigade get here?:whistling:

They are also selling the aaa bateries for this price as i bought a pack of 8 two days ago.

Good price for 16 batteries, but my Duracell batteries are pretty overpriced to start off with. Also Gadget show did a piece on this some time ago proving that the big names are not to be as long lasting as other brands (or none brands). Why not just buy the cheap store own batteries?

Well i don't believe thats quite true as i've just put a couple of Kodak AA batteries into my digicam and the camera struggles to take a picture. Yet with the Duracells it works great!

This deal will go on and on while other battery deals stop.

I normally go for Powercell which is the trade version of Duracell and can be picked up quite cheaply, but this is a good deal.

this is quite a good deal actually, i bought 40 AA Duracell Ultra M3 from 7 day shop like last week, for £15, i reckon that was a better deal, cos of free delivery and shizzle, and because the batteries are well etter than these, but for a supermarket deal, this cheap. heat added.

Want a better deal?

Take a 6V lantern battery for about £5.00, cut it open and voila - 32 AA batteries for £5.00.

Purchase a Duracell or Everready battery for £9.00 and that's 32AA premium AA batteries for £9.00 :)

This is not always the case, granted, sometimes it is but on the odd occasion you will find different shapes and sized batterys to our beloved AA

Not on offer at Sainsbury's store in Tamworth either. Gutted because that was the main reason I went there! :-(
#17
The offer isn't on at Gateshead - Team Valley, :x

A car battery? Why would I do that?

A branded 6v lantern battery is merely a plastic casing, holding 32 branded AA batteries.

Have to say though - voted hot :)
