More like snack size these days!

individual bar is now 51g (down from 58g), multipack bars are 39.4g. 8 for £1.50 still a good deal.

Ahhhhhhh, so not full size. I thought this was too good to be true. Thanks, saved wasting a trip.

Yep not full size but like Toblerone still has oversized packaging to mislead you

Cold. 9 bars for £1.25 in Tesco

Tesco's 9 bars for £1.25 work out cheaper even though the bars are smaller (41.7g vs 51g).

Tesco - 9 x 41.7 = 375.3g - (1.25/375.3) x 100 = 0.333p / 100g
Premier - 8 x 51 = 408g - (1.5/408) x 100 = 0.367p /100g

Good deal, but why do they never have "Topic" included in these offers.

I would've liked Double Deckers included.

The 9-pack in Tesco @ £1.25 are 41.7g so cheaper and better weight. But OP's deal is still good for a convenience store.

Premier Stores website shows 33.8gr packs for the Mars in the picture. Where did 51gr come from??

Tesco 9 pack of Mars are 39.4gr each. No idea where 41.7gr came from.

No idea why this is so hot. Cheaper and bigger at Tescos. Cold from me.

Just found this deal too.

Not as good as the Tesco deal but if you buy 2 10 packs you get 4 free compared to this deal. Same size in weight.

Same for Snickers at tesco. Half price. 9x41.7gr = £1.25

Yes it should be, mine is just a corner shop too, I think most are. I looked at the Premier Store which is also a petrol station but they didn't have the offer running.

Great find OP. Everyone saying that it's cheaper elsewhere just remember that Premier is a franchise and each store is individually owned by either a friendly family or an individual trying to make a living while 'Tesco' and other big brands are trying to destroy them. Support your local stores because one day when Tesco dominates the market you will have no choice but to pay what ever they charge you. Also think about the poor local people trying to make a living like everyone else. My local store is run by a lovely father and the poor fella wakes up at 6am till midnight everyday just to make a living.

Bought 2 packs the other day, at premier. Looking at them now. They are 4 x 35.5g = 142g

Not such a great deal.

Do remember Premier Stores is owned by Bookers Limited. They also own Budgens and Londis. The group turned over 5bn last year. Sure they supply many independents. The people running the franchises maybe local but this is a large firm with online sales of over 1.8bn a year.
http://www.bookergroup.com/~/media/Files/B/Booker-Group/pdf/interim-results-presentation-13-10-2016.pdf?

True independent shops are much more harder to find. Many firms use franchises. Many Mcdonalds are franchises. Doesn't mean I rush there to support the firm because a local man runs it.

This firm is run by Tesco. You can still have a local person open the shop and run it. There is a big difference between supporting local firms and supporting big retailers like this. Where do you draw the line?
#29
This is NOT as described ,it says the bars are full size they ARE NOT! A full size Mars bar is 51 grams these bars are 33. 8 grams a full size snickers is 48 grams & these are 35.5 grams . Totally misleading but good value all the same

Interestingly Tesco have just launched a bid to take over Bookers today. So Tesco will in effect be supplying all these chains soon enough if this deal get's approved. So helping your local store is giving money to Tesco.
