This would be a cracker if you get it at that price.
Never used this place and before anyone says about Sri Lanka is terrorist central please bear in mind what a beautiful place it is and how attacks are not exactly frequent bearing in mind the amount of travellers last 20 years.

See Foreign Office travel advice for Sri Lanka!!!
I would not travel to Sri Lanka at the moment... the tigers are hunting for blood..
Not that great to be honest, me and the mrs went last year with first choice at this hotel with b&b for £325 each lastminute deal... although it was in May but still plenty of sunshine, would mainly rain at night, thought it was a blessing at times!
I heard there are some really low prices for Iraq and Afghanistan too :)
Seems a good deal to me & have read the Foreign Office advice
"For the purpose of this travel advice we consider the north to be all areas north of the A12 road (which runs from Puttalam in the west to Trincomalee in the east) including the Jaffna peninsula. We consider the east to be the districts of Trincomalee and Batticaloa, as well as coastal areas of Ampara district east of the A25 and A27 roads . We define the areas around Yala National Park as those east of the A2 and south of the A4. See the Terrorism and Local Travel sections of this advice for more details."

& this resort isn't in these regions, (Location: Eden Resort & Spa is located on the south west coast of Sri Lanka, 96 km from the International Airport along the golden sandy beaches on the outskirts of Beruwela town.) okay that doesn't make it 100% safe, but, attacks aren't exactly that common place & lets be honest its not exactly Iraq or Afghanistan is it!?!? & would people say the same things about some other places (egypt, jamaica, florida....) where either terrorist attacks have happened or people have died in crime against tourist etc?

Just need to find someone to go with.........
I would not travel to Sri Lanka at the moment... the tigers are hunting for blood..

Not the blood of tourists though.
I would visit Sri Lanka again tomorrow,it is perfectly safe imo, having been there myself. The unrest is mainly isolated in the NE of the island and all resorts are in the south.

Doesn't seem too bad a deal, though I went for less for 14 nights(was a couple of years ago though)

Beautiful island, lovely people, lots to see..........suppose you could have another week in Tenerife though...............again!!!!;-)
