Asda are selling John West tuna (4-tin packs) for £4.97 but they have an offer to get 2 for £5 meaning the second 4-pack is only 3p (less than 1p per tin)

Morrisons regularly do these BOGOF
#4
tesco doing Princes tuna for £2.24 for 4 tins. and imo its better tuna.
#5
Waitrose are doing John West for £3.50 for 4 tins or 2 for £5 - so same offer essentially. £4.97 for 4 tins seems really expensive to me.

Just curious as to what way you think it is better?

This is not a great deal - a little while back you were able to get 12 tins for similar money in ASDA. Generally, ASDA is always cheaper for Tuna than Tesco, IMHO

I'd go as far as saying ASDA is cheaper than Tesco (and Sainsbury/Morrisons/etc) for anything.. :whistling:

Chemicals often do add extra 'flavours'.

Now then, i went into Asda and john west tuna ALL of them i.e. in brine, in sunflower oil, in springwater etc etc said £2 for a pack of 4. Went to checkout theyd come up at 2 for £5, went to customer services, she came down with me and i showed her, and she said they need changing on the system to £2 for a pack of 4. So i got my money back, and they updated. So if you purchase these and they come up at £5 for 2 packs, its wrong, they should be £2 for one pack of 4.

(In my asda on the end isle they said £2 each pack of 4 but where the tuna usually is they said 2 packs for a £5 and when checked the correct price was £2) Mwah...x

Oh well, deal must have changed. It was good while it lasted. Still, £2 for a 4-pack isn't bad at all.
