pretty good deal voted hot!

...and what sort of fish would they be, then?
#4
Probably a load of Pollock...but at least it's real fish.

The other products in the range are OK, especially the batter, and compared to what fish & chip shops DARE to sell in the Midlands, they are actually GOOD!

Far better to have frozen pollock than semi-decomposing cod or coley, as that is what I would have to put up with if I want anything even vaguely like the fish & chip shop taste here, although of course not nearly as good as the "real" Yorkshire thing.

Hot for me.

Oooo Young's fish is the best frozen fish,i'm an expert on everything processed and frozen and anything that cooks in the microwave in 10 mins lol
#7
I hope these arent caged battery fish being used in these, i would rather pay a bit more and buy fish that can live in a more humane way and run free on the hill side and ones that arent full or water and seriods.

Lol :) . Voted hot.

Which brands ?

Birdseye and the Asda and tesco own brands... they're the only ones I've tried and the Youngs ones are much nicer. The batter goes really crispy on the Young's ones which you don't get with the others.

Ya know what i'm going blind,i asked you what brand coz i thought your post said you hate Young's but ive just realised you said rate..doh ! lol

I think you might be expecting a bit too much there!

Yuk, processed rubbish

I'm generally against processed food, but I hardly think decent fish fingers fall in to that category. These are simply fish with a batter coating, it's hardly a pot not noodle or a ready meal. Ingredients are:

Alaska pollock fillet (58%), coating (wheat flour, water, salt, yeast, turmeric), colours (paprika extract, curcumin), vegetable oil

No E numbers or anything unnatural in there.

------

To the deal itself: It's fairly good, but not great. I bought these when they were £1.49 for 20 at Sainsbury's and they were very nice though, sometimes you can't beat a fish finger sarnie.

Nope, it didn't come across that way to me either.

No smiley, so It came across as real, and trolling in these threads is RIFE, so it is quite likely it would be taken that way.

Was a smiley hence the " :) Lol . Voted hot." , anyways.
