Have you ever fancied having a go at creating your own computer game? Indie Gala have a fantastic opportunity for you to get your hands on nearly £90 worth of development software - for less than a tenner!

Axis Game Factory PRO is a comprehensive toolset designed to provide game developers with a powerful and rapid level creation, terrain/vegetation editing, lighting and atmosphere system. AGF is a standalone product, designed to work in concert with the Free and Pro versions of the Unity 4 game engine. AGF PRO runs on the PC, MAC and Linux systems.

This bundle gives you the premium version of Axis Game Factory Pro V2 (normal price is a little over £60), plus the BattleMat Multiplayer, and Zombie FPS (First Person Shooter) add on DLC packs.

You can choose what you pay, starting at $9.99 (or £8.15 including tax once PayPal has converted it for you).

Grab a copy of the free Unity 3D engine from the Unity website, and you are all ready to explore creating games. This is a fantastic opportunity, not to be missed!

bought this for my son a while ago and it was good until they released a patch and after that the whole thing just lagged up to a standstill.

Check the steam forums for up date info on performance as it may been sorted but few weeks back it was still fudged.

Is it the development environment that has become laggy, or what it outputs? I had noticed when I fired up part of it, the whole thing was very laggy, but given my dev environment has undergone a lot of changes over the past couple of weeks I had put it down to just needing a rebuild as other things are also a bit laggy.

I would be interested to hear your/your son's findings as well.
