Not bad as a primary HDD solely for OS use

Why all the negs? It's cheap and does a reasonable job if you only want 80GB!
#3
I think there are negative votes because (from the same web site):

For less than £4 more you can get 160Gb (twice the size)

For £10 more you can get 250Gb (3 times the size)

I agree it is an ideal drive for your "C" drive for just the operating system, leaving for example a 500Gb as your "D" for your data

I didnt vote either way, it is cheap but I think scan also charge for delivery.
#5
Hard to get smaller drive sizes these day's for operating system drive.

Nice offer thanks.

I know you can get bigger for a little less but these are seagate which come with the fantastic disk wizard software that can clone your existing drive on to this, plus as i said for mirrored/striped raid who needs bigger

unless you buy 2 or 4 as was my intention for this drive, lets face it 80Gb is plenty for 80% of machines out there, I regurlarly visit clients machines with 320Gb plus in to find they only using 10% of the drive lol
ps same drive at ebuyer; £24.20
