23°Seems hard to go wrong. 4/3 screen ensures it is great for the web. Available direct from Amazon UK. (UK review says " Beautiful to look at matt black and brushed aluminium")
Bright but Resistive touchscreen. Yet it is multi touch and surprisingly sensitive.
Has AndroidPIT AppcCente but German reviews also confirm Market is easy to install whilst dual USB slots give versatility. Reviews confirm it accepts 3G dongles.
Metallic and plastic casing and approx 375g
Flash 11 installs works well too but reviews being German iPlayer does not get a mention.

800X480 is too low for the web and 800x600 equates to a 8.75" widescreen.
1 review at UK is good. Most reviews at amazon.de are 4 or 5 star.

This seems very good value if you are not too bothered about games which need fast touching.
If you have ever used a Netbook you will know its screen is very limited for the web.
The 25% extra vertical resolution at least matches a netbook.

The Ainol was £120 for 800x480 capacitive but reportedly dull screen.
Reviews are very good for brightness of this 800x 600 one which as said effectively sits in the middle between 7" and 10" size.

The Ainol

Heh, I imagine they have to think long and hard about lots of model/brand names that make it over here from China and such like.
Still, it is puerile fun for me
