Hope so! I bought one of the watches for £45 on Sunday, and now see it's down to £30 - gutted to say the least!

E-mail has been sent so hopefully they will refund the difference, as otherwise it's getting sent back and re-purchased at the lower price!

- refunded £15, amazon proving again why they are the best online retailer in my eyes!

These are not watches, real watches have a mechanical movement they are not run by a battery.

These are timing devices, no different than the telling the time on your phone.

watch [wɒtʃ]
vb

1. (Miscellaneous Technologies / Horology)
a. a small portable timepiece, usually worn strapped to the wrist (a wristwatch) or in a waistcoat pocket

Sometimes a beater watch is better than an automatic which you have to wind every couple of days if you dont wear it regularly, and the timepieces you are on about are probably very expensive time pieces, omega etc (they also make watches that run on batteries)

LOL @ last post :)

Excellent prices, ordered two as I couldn't decide which of the two I liked best! £270 worth of watches (according to Amazon RRP) for £54.00!
#22
Great deal... voted hot.

However, personally I think they all look ugly - can't find anything I would want to wear. But, like I always try and tell folk you vote on the deal, not what you think.
#23
thanks for posting, like most of them, but not sure where they get the RRP's, can only find most of them in 1 other online shop.

Could do with some more dimensions as ive got skinny wrists and struggle to get them to fit&look right...

If you go to the NUS website and login with your card details, you get an Amazon voucher code, which give you 5% off selected items, which it seems watches are.

Don't think the codes are transferrable though, as a friend tried and failed using my code.
#26
Wow, those are some UGLY watches (IMHO)
#27
I've not voted just because the watches are so ugly and I think the full price is a scam.

Thats correct. You get 5% on most things from Amazon excluding electronics.

Got some trainers last week and it worked for them, I actually like some of the watches and went for the black and red face.

Why do you think the full-price is a scam? Check the Firetrap website, e.g. the link in Smash41's post...

fantastic - many thanks for this, grabbed some early xmas presents x

Well I made a point of mentioning the Amazon RRP in my post. I found the watch I ordered for £90 on ASOS and around the same price on the Firetrap website, so it's still a saving of £60 as I paid £30 for it.
#33
If you google search the watches you find the prices are far higher in comparison to Amazon.
Anyway if it was only £10 more expensive elsewhere, it's still cheaper...!
#34
Oh and don't forget your free £2 discount code off mp3 downloads.

what is so special about these watches for them to be £120 etc in the first place? genuine question!

Nothing,special watches cost a **** load more than £120.

Thanks, voted hot just bought this one

http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B0031ES8DS.02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Only £28 and i get £2 to spend on some songs for my ipod.

Next best price i could find for it was £52, so a decent saving. Not really going by the RRP's on amazon as they're never accurate.
#39
Cheers OP - Ordered the chunky black/white one for £30. I know that these aren't, never were, and never will be, worth anything even close to their RRPs, but i think you cant go too far wrong for thirty quid! We'll see when it arrives!

Also, for anyone who hasn't already done so i highly recommend taking advantage of the one month free amazon prime trial. You basically get next day delivery free for a month just by clicking a button. (Go straight to your account settings and cancel to avoid getting charged £49!) Unlike some companies (*cough* Microsoft) cancelling the free trial and paying nothing is as easy as pie! SuperSaver Delivery normally takes about 300 years anyway!
Head Added!

does anyone know if you have to pay your own postage on returns to amazon?
thanks
