Snap em up before they appear on ebay.

I can not stress enough that i have bought 2 "box damaged" 40gb ps3 from this company almost a year ago and both are running fine and looked brand new.

Exactly!

Good price if you just want the console and no games.
#4
they often have them on this site great price had the 40gb for about £195 last week also some good deals on PSP there returns but cheaper than ebay?
#5
Not such a great price as it works out @ £227.98 inc del as the £3 code doesn't seem to work anymore.
#6
ordered a 40gb on 3rd march - now 14th and no site, rang after a week to be told it had gone to allocated on the system. A great price but rubbish service, just hope its ok when it gets here.

Great offer, cheers for that, how are you finding iptorrents??

thought i would mention i spoke to these people the other day and they are not stocking ps3 consoles any more. there website is a disgrace and has no real time stock levels.
i like the person above ordered a 40gb ps3 this week and then phoned them about rough delivery times and was told no more stock was coming in so i cancelled.
You might get lucky but dont hold your breath waiting for the postman to knock with your shiny ps3
voted very cold from me

cold from me, the company are a bunch of cowboys!!
#11
Good price, *however* as poster above said I would go for it with eyes open. As the stock levels and the control of their website in general is shambolic. They always take orders they cannot fufill.
So if you get one amazing price, don't be too disappointed if you get a sorry we had an error email in a week though.

Between £230 and £280 on Ebay. If it's truly never been used you should be getting top-end.

If it's too good to be true...

Get one of the other deals , not worth the risk for a second hand one in my opinion
#19

this has been posted various times, and that's how i got mine !

buy with confidence, the units are really really BRAND NEW and the boxes aren't damaged at all (at least mine wasn't).
they come with 1 remote and usual standard goodies (cables etc).
So it's just a bargain.
I preferred this to bundles as i choosed to buy the games/movies i liked.

superhot

I went for one of the PSP's that they were doing. The first one looked to be in very good condition, very little damage to the box. However, the screen didn't work, it was actually a faulty unit rather than just a 'customer return'. They refunded me every penny, including return postage.

Then a couple of months later the PSP's came back in stock. This one had a bit more of a bashed box, but again the unit itself was 'as new', and this time it worked fine.

Shame about PSP games though, I'm not overly impressed... :(

There is a rumoured price drop in April on PS3s; it might be worth waiting until then.
#25
what if it dies in 6 months time? whats the warranty?

Chinese whispers,
there will be no significant price drop as sony already lose money on each console sold and try to make it up with game sales.

Nintendo have recently announced they are increasing the rrp of the wii due to the credit crunch and they have been making money selling their console!!

now do you really think sony will reduce prices???

#35
Great idea,
then when one one of them is away to microsoft to get fixed you have your "spare" one to play on.

Which of the two types of control pads does this come with? And someone mentioned it came with a remote control too - that true?

Yeah just to update i ordered on Thursday and received the Ps3 on Monday, console is in excellent condition the box was damaged but nothing inside seemed to be touched. Basically looked brand new. One problem is the controller it looks like the right stick on the controller is veering to the right slightly but i'm gonna try resetting the controller tonight and give it a go. But overall for 225 decent deal!

maybe because the 60gb was sony's release console and has the most problems (overheating etc),
just a thought .

-edit
also all ps3's play ps1 games
