Seems a good price but not a job for the faint hearted

this is the ipod with the 4 touch sensitive buttons along the top?

I've bought replacement batteries for my PDA from DX. Though they looked exactly the same, the capacity was about half. Still worth the money in my opinion, but something to be aware of.

I have done a couple of Photo Ipods, it was a little tricky getting the case open, but the actual job is quite easy

God spot. I bought a replacement battery from Maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=98182 £17.99 but higher mAh @ 580. Plastic tools supplied not very good (as per Deal Extreme reviews) .As an aside Deal Extreme are great to do business with, really quick postage and good packaging too.

Good prices but they sell fakes. Be wary !!!! If your product is under Warranty..........

Fairly good price, I have a 3G and need a new battery but 1100mah on ebay for £5, so that's a better deal really.

Think you may be right, but just got a 1100mah battery on evilbay from a US seller for £3.71 delivered so seems much better value than this one - just hope the seller is as reliable as my previous experiences from DealExtreme! Very easy to change a battery on a 3G iPod.
