1. LOG INTO QUIDCO
2. SEARCH MERCHANT APPLE AND VISIT THE MERCHANT
3. PLACE AN ORDER FOR THE 8GB IPHONE
4. ON THE LAST SCREEN ENTER PROMOTIONAL CODE IGGYTJR2KU AND THIS WILL GIVE YOU £20 OFF THE PRICE BEFORE VAT......AND THEREFORE REDUCE THE VAT AS WELL
5. FINAL PRICE 245.50
6 QUIDCO CASHBACK = JUST OVER £5
7 PRICE PAID FOR iPHONE = under £240

Was going to get one from ebay but they going for minimum £290

THE REASON I THINK THIS IS BETTER THAN THE CARPHONE WAREHOUSE DEAL IS BECAUSE ALTHOUGH QUIDCO TRACKS @ £60 IT WILL NOT VALIDATE AS FIRSTLY QUIDCO STATES THAT iPHONE CONTRACTS ONLY CARRY £20 CASHBACK.........AND CHANCES ARE IF YOU DONT ACTIVATE YOUR iPHONE ON A NEW 02 CONTRACT WHICH SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF YOU WON'T BE DOING THEN I THINK THAT WILL ALSO DECLINE, SO YOU WILL END UP PAYING £269 FOR THE PHONE WORSE CASE SCENARIO AND £249 BEST CASE SCENARIO BUT WITH THIS ONE YOUR DEFINITLY ONLY PAYING £245 FOR THE PHONE ON THE APPLE WEBSITE AND QUIDCO SHOULD VALIDATE BUT EVEN IF IT DOESN'T........ITS ONLY A FIVER LOST!

Whatever - there is no profit to be made as you suggest. It's a gimmic anyway!

Cold.

that code has expired!!!

lol now I am confused, though it's easily done. Where is the best real deal for an Iphone at the moment?

Come on...this is a straight rip from the huge Carphone Warehouse deal posted HERE

Dozens on that thread have pointed out for weeks that as an alternative it can be bought from Apple direct with the same voucher code posted here.

This hardly needs another thread starting unless its to try and get rep yourself. Your post also fails to mention that unlocking it yourself will almost definately invalidate the warranty.

Think its the same code, just that the £20 is ex-VAT so the saving is £23.50 off the VAT inclusive price.

Not "almost definately", more like "might" because once you have restored the original firmware then it will be just like when it was purchased. Though depending on how long you've had it the service centre may wonder why it still has not been activated !
