Having spent a long time trying to find the cheapest and most flexible option for the New design 8GB ipod, i think this maybe the cheapest to date? BUT it now seems that Currys and PC World will price match Dixons (listed the retailer as Dixons 'cos you will have to quote their price for a match) If you want to order it online from Dixons you will have to pay the 4.95 delivery, but obviously no charge if you buy it instore from Curry or PC World.

All colours available - black is the cheapest increasing to blue at 114.00

You can get the 8GB model from La redoute for £107 and the 4gb for £77.00 using code 4798 (£25 off). This includes £2.95 delivery.

They are labelled the wrong way round on the site, but reading previous posts they only send out the correct model.

Also 6% quidco.

Its in the Christmas section under electrical.

:-( Sadly turned out to be a turkey - sorry. Just before i clicked on 'confirm order' i rang customer services ('cos the order summary doesn't say whether you are buying 4 or 8GB. After a fruitless 10 minute call i was told that although i has clicked on the 8 GB option, i was about to buy the 4! Also, when i tried to apply the code 4798 - the system rejected the code. :p that's what i think of LaRedoute customer service!!

I have just ordered The 8GB model (10 mins ago) and applied the code and it worked fine.

I ordered the 4Gb model yestreday and again it worked fine.

Both are for christmas presents.

As I said previously they are labbeled the wrong way around. So when you order the 4gb you are getting the 8GB and vice versa. But the price is as you would expect, just the description is the wrong way.

The prices with the discounts still stand. Just the descriptions that are confusing.

Just a thought - I have ordered both of these on my wifes account (paid by credit card) perhaps the code is just account users ?

s'funny - i tried again with same result as before, so i was starting to wonder the same myself. I didn't really want to get an account though - not to worry - this whole thing is taking forever, so i decided to try John Lewis ....fingers crossed

You should be fine with John Lewis, Ive never had a problem with them and theres only a few quid in it anyway.

Both of mine have arrived now from La redoute, Have to say having not seen one before they are very nice.

Might even get one for myself !!!!
