Brilliant! First time I see those under £10. I wanted one to upgrade my phone (more multimedia storage), thanks a lot!

It's an SD card you need - not a MicroSD - and 8Gb is way too much. 2Gb will be fine for your purpose.

Yep, I did mine yesterday with a 2gb SD card. I wanted to do it when the kids weren't there so I had to get an extremely cold deal instore from Currys :x

As for this deal, will this be Ok for a DS Lite with R4 card? I'm not sure my cheap and nasty Dazzle card reader will read it either. Any help appreciated

If it's the original R4 then no.

The fairly recent upgrade means that the Wii can now read SDHC cards, and can also boot WiiWare straight from the SD card (kind of!). And there are softmods out there that can also utilise this.

Only if you have an MS Duo adaptor (£2 from http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12177), or buy 2 8GB SDHC cards and a dual adaptor for around £4 and you have a 16GB MS Duo for less than £24 (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25099 or http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16489). I have done this and it works superbly.

SDHC is fine if you can use the space. However, most people are now using the GX USB Loader and an external hard drive. This makes the SD card pretty redundant for all but a small amount of space. I don't bother with WiiWare and so can't comment on that useage. If this will use the space, fair enough, but even then - you need an SD card not a MicroSD card.
