Seems a pretty good deal if you can't quite stretch to the 16GB model at aound £60 more even after the Apple £20 + Quidco discounts.

I agree that the perception of bang for buck (comparatively small storage space) can be off-putting, but got mine the other day (eBay btw!) and never really having had an mp3 player before I find 8GB pretty huge to be honest - plus the thing is so slim I don't think (at the moment at least) they could have squeezed the tiniest 160GB hard drives into 'em?

God it's cute! and works very well I might add.
