Don't forget to add postage which means this is only cheaper by just over a pound.

There's also a 'possible' 7% cashback through Quidco with Crucial.

Orders over £25 can get free postage - hence not included in the price on this post.

Cold from me, as with the fast shipping service, it comes up more expensive than Crucial

Crucial give Special Delivery as £2.99 and get to me next day if I order it before 3pm

Sounds like someone purchased the Crucial RAM and regretting it. Whilst being jealous of people taking this deal.

there's nothing to regret, crucial>kingston :)

Crucial are much better, plus your mad to buy ram at the moment, it is dropping in price so much, it will be very cheap in a month. Keep an eye on the prices, they will be dropping every week.

Why would anyone want to upgrade the RAM in a Mac? Surely Macs are so perfect that they could never be improved upon, as well as never needing any software, maintenance or even electricity. ;)

I'm very happy to buy either Crucial or Kingston, but I'm not sure there is any eveidence that one is better than the other.

RAM prices fluctuate like any market, supply is outstripping demand right now which is why its cheap, but that doesn't mean it'll happen forever.

To steal it to deprive PC owners of theirs, of course. Nothing expresses opulence better than sporting a surfeit of stuff that you don't even use.

Quite disappointed that my macbook only takes a maximum of 4GB ram now. Should've gone for the pro!

Outstanding price!
I got a previously posted deal a few months ago, for just under £90 delivered!
Very lucky to have I sold my 4GB (2x2gb) for £50 on eBay!
Excellent find, thanks for sharing!

I picked up 8GB of DDR3 1333Mhz Corsair RAM on Sunday for £62 from Kikatek
#14
would this fit a acer 8371?
#15
Believe the 8371 can handle max 4GB RAM I'm afraid :(

Glad it's useful to people, I paid around £130 for same RAM kit from Ebuyer last year so this struck me as a real bargain.

Agree with rest of posters that RAM prices go up and down - but this is lowest this kit hast been since it was introduced, not convinced it will drop much further.

Never had any problems with either Crucial or Kingston RAM - don't see any performance differences between them online when googling...

If you wanna know if you'll benefit from this, open activity monitor and click on system memory near the bottom. Watch your page ins/outs and the swap size. if they're anything over a few hundred MB above zero, upgrading will speed things up. my numbers climb with a VM running, but design, audio, video software will likely also require more RAM. i'ma gonna get this :)
