yours would have been a scandisk one, not a play one

Shame my phone only allows a 2gb card
(Samsung J700......although I did notice Play doing an offer with that phone & a 4gb card - is the phones manual wrong? Does anyone know for sure?)

i've got a feeling these are rebranded sandisk ones cuz theres not many brands that do 8GB micro SDHC

cheapest 8Gig price ive seen, cheapest i've seen is about £18 which is very good anyway. voted hot

but it's popping up on my explorer as a microSD card :? I've got the service manual for this phone and can't for the life of me find it, or even anything that resembles the memory chip....can you?

"2ET Flash module" in the diagram above would probably be the 8GB flash memory - the old non-8GB N95s took external Micro SD cards - for the 8GB they took away the port, put on a bigger screen and added the memory to the motherboard - the OS is probably the same and sees it as an SD card even though its permanently installed into the phone.

Nokia are a little inconsistant in their PC Apps too - the latest versions of their PC Suite tool show my phones memory card with a little MIcroSD icon, even though its an MMC-mobiile.

the bits marked with a bin are to be thrown away when dissembled, would they throw away all my music when taken in for a warranty repair
#21
the 8gb is actually on the motherboard, its a chip which is soldered, nothing like a micro sd card

the 2et flash module is the camera flash,

depending on what was done during the warranty repair, the system memory would usually be erased and reset to default. not sure on the user memory.

I have Play branded DDR2 running in my Dell, and it works great.

It would need a Pro Duo adapter to allow it to run in a PSP.

What speed class is this card? Is it fast enough to work in a 12Mp camera? (Kodak Z1275)
