Think this is the cheapest quality tablet yet. Only 8GB out the box but supports micro SD so cheap to make up to 40GB storage with a 32GB card. Also has rear facing camera which was an essential for my mate to do her ebay listings off it.

Available in silver and white at this price. Powerful dual core with a decent GPU means it will do most things (about the same spec as an S2 phone). Jelly Bean is also supposedly imminent and it already has ICS on it.

Cashback is direct from Samsung here: http://www.samsung.com/uk/tab2cashback/

Edit: Price after cashback is £119 not £129. Monday morning is a bad time to do maths, the deal is even better, LOL

Edit 2: Clearly haven't been paying much attention as this is exactly the same as the CPW deal here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-7-wi-fi-8gb-white-silver-now-149-00-119-00-after-cashback-carphone-1355621

Nice mathematics ?

Can you get a calculator app for this?

Nice mathematics ?

They mean that it because it takes micro sd cards you could get a 32gb card. Then 32 + 8 = 40.

Hence they say it is cheap to get 40gb, not that you get 40gb free (as you only get 16)

cashback from Samsung is £30 plus a 8gb micro sd card, bringing it down to £119. same price as Carphone Warehouse, but still a good price for quality product.
#5
can you store apps on the sd card?
#6
how do you get the free 8gb memory card?

seems good deal but 100% next Friday amazon will kill all web site prices like they do every year
#10
That's cheap.
#11
low resolution screen

but still hot deal!

Good deal and vote hot for the price but surely no-one is going to buy this since the Nexus 7 16GB is far better value at the moment and prices are dropping quicker than a lead balloon (_;)

Was nothing to do with that, when it was first listed the op put the price at £129 after cashback, but he has now edited it.

You can order as many as you like, although I would order them seperatly so you have seperate invoices to claim the cashback with.

Took them a while to wake up and price match the CPW deal...

Edit: Almost every question you can think of has been asked and answered here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-7-wi-fi-8gb-white-silver-now-149-00-119-00-after-cashback-carphone-1355621

Voted hot. With the memory card it has the same memory as the Nexus and it's £40 cheaper. May not be quite as good as the Nexus in some people's minds, but you can't argue that you're getting a lot of quality for the money.

Surprised that the 3G versions of this have not been reduced, maybe in the next few days when the nexus 3G one comes out...

Maybe but I think you being a little optimistic wanting the 10inch for anywhere near that price, you will struggle to get a half decent unknown branded budget 10inch tab for that price

I have a Nexus 7, TBH for what I use it for I would happily have this instead. I think the flexibility of SD slot and rear camera are as useful as the bit more power in the Nexus 7. Don't think you can go wrong with either for the cash really.

Samsung sure seem to swamping the market with both the 7 and 10.2 at the moment, there are going to be a lot of busy kids on their tablets Christmas morning I think.

I am after Asus i5 Laptop from Sainsbury for 34.00 GBP ( instore in March this year ) and many other deals that i have found here so i believe in miracles :)

If i only needed 7 inch tablet i would go for this one , but i need 10 inch so i will wait .

Voted Hot as it is very good price

I bought one of these for my wife last week and we have swapped it for a Nexus. The difference in screen quality is huge. It's like comparing the old iPhone to the retina display iPhone.

That said, this is a good deal. But if you can afford the extra £40, I'd choose the Nexus 7.

This is the WIFI ONLY version, so no 3G and no slot for any SIM-card.

Not a 3G version. So no option available for SIM-card.

I've got both, and the more I play with my Nexus, the more I dislike my Tab. Little things like the homescreen icons that only sit in the middle of the screen annoy me.

Check if Tesco are still selling 10-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab2 for £ 238.40 and then you claim £50 cashback from Samsung. Possible to find discount code for £10 (or just £5) off when ordering via Tesco Direct for first-time users.
