All served by the same company...Boots appliances has this in silver for:

£461 in silver - 3% TCB and £18.44 in Advantage card points
£480 in white - 3% TCB and £19.20 in Advantage card points

I bought the 1247 the other week as the other half only wanted 1200 spin (its the only difference between this machine at 1400 and the 1247 at 1200rpm)

Better to go to Boots for this - much better overall deal.

Btw they deliver on a Sat or Sunday for only £10 too at boots (its delivered by expert logistics) I ordered at 1pm on Saturday, it was fitted and running in the kitchen by 5:30 the following day...

Have an LG as the one I got wasn't so deep as most, about 5cm shorter, and well recommended.

Thanks for the feedback, wasn't sure about which brand to get, and just saw this deal when looking for a new one.

I would not recommend LG washing machines unless they're going to be installed on a very solid base. The Spin is quiet, but the vibrations our machine sends through our floors and in two bedrooms above are unbelievable. LG also took over a week to get an engineer scheduled to inspect the machine.. no fault, just the floor.. never had a problem with the floor using the Dyson washer we had before

should be ok in a normal house kitchen tho ? with a concrete base floor with maybe tiling or wooden flooring ? what kind of floor / property do you have ?

thanks for any info - im just about to buy the silver one when it comes back into stock ......

Concrete floor should be no problem, think the issue is that the LG machines are so light compared to what I used to have and therefore bounces on the laminate floor which is on top of a suspended wooden floor. It's only when you receive it and read the instructions that they recommend rubber cups for the feet of the machine screwed into 2 joists supporting the floor.. I wasn't exactly pleased at the prospect of taking up the floor and hoping I could line everything up after.. now looking for a heavier machine.. looks like a Panasonic or some of the bosch machines are heavier too.. there's a 23kg difference between the LG i have and the panasonic..
