I had the Vivicam 6300 until I lost it on holiday. It was very well made, nice brushed metal finish, instant response and cracking pictures. I reckon this is an absolute bargain!

I have the 4MP version of this camera and it's a reasonable all-round happy snapper.

Been very reliable too and good on batteries.

I agree that Vivitar isn't the last name in cameras, but if you only want to spend a mere £50 on one, then is a good start.

Plus, it's the cheapest that I can find that camera. And on that basis alone, it merits a hot.

Even 4mpixels is wasted, unless you have really good optics on the unit. Most <£200 cameras are completely unbalanced by this chase for mpixels, which does nothing to improve the picture.

As I own a Vivitar camera I have to agree with past comments, they're pretty nasty picture wise. Mine was supposed to be 3.1m but the pictures looked more like 800k, VERY overexposed and with a high blue content. As for the movie mode.... No comment.

Well that's a bit rude! I was just correcting your mistaken critisisms. Maybe you could go and find some deals instead of incorrectly flaming other people's. There, I said it :x
