The Sun £9.50 holidays website is now allowing bookings without codes.
Probably limited availability but at least you know immediately if you've got the dates/parks that you want.

How do you do this ? It asked for details ?
#2
Agreed, asking for details for me too?
#3
As many will point out, this is for a minority and not everyone. So it probably go cold. I personally find such information beneficial just in case the 'minority' hasn't been informed.

Asking for details... Could you please explain how you got this to work?
#5

What is the luxury upgrade too? Because I'm looking at Thorpe park in lincs for my girlfriends birthday next year and it dosn't mention luxury it only says standard, standard plus, deluxe, superior, prestige, platinum?
#11
Thanks for this great information booked for September (with Sun) and May 2011 with The Mail. The Sun takes a bit of working out, I now go for the one I want and two entries for ones I know unlikely to get and then fiddle with the dates.

I did a luxury last year somewhere else & it was a 12' wide van with a microwave also had heating in the bedrooms. It might differ between parks though.

You dont have to take either the linen packs or the entertainment tickets. Just phone them when the bill comes to have it removed. If its Lakeland, the evening entertainment was rubbish but I think it also allows access to the pool. Last year I had them taken off my bill & when I got to the park they gave me passes anyway plus an upgraded van for free. They phoned me the day before to offer an upgrade which I refused but I got it anyway:3

Thanks for the info,I think I'll pay the linen price as can't be bothered washing ours when we get back lol but will refuse the entertainment thanks.

Whats the Service Charge for and do I have to have it? I am looking at Naze Marine and it says

'Service Charge £5.99 per unit per night'

That's £23.96..for a 4 night break..and what exactly is it for, it's not as if they clean your caraven everyday!

I think that is a lot, I don't mind the
'Entertainment Plus Pass £5 per person per break'
There will only be 2 of us, I know we will have to pay 4 times £9.50, but hopefully if there is only 2 of us, I would only have to pay £10 for the Entertainment pass?

Also, is there a set upgrade fee to a better caravan? Or am I better off calling the park?

Thanks

Steve

Service charge is for gas & electricity & is compulsory unfortunately.
I think to upgrade you need to call the park when you get your invoice for the extras.
