Works out at about 11p a bar - absolute bargain if you ask me! I thought the 5 pack for £1 was good, but think i'll be stocking up on these!

They have been £1.12 in all Sainsbury's for weeks now, but I guess an extra 12p isn't too bad!
#20

Really!? I've never noticed them at that price, my bargain spotting eyes muct be fading:?

Either way scorching hot from me as love Chunkys, even if I have become spoilt with the caramel ones these days, will be grabbing a few packs at this price that's for sure!

Thanks:thumbsup:

To quote Greenpeace themselves in the comments:
"Far from giving Greenpeace a bad name, the video prompted tens of thousands of people to contact Nestlé and demand a rethink of their policy on sourcing palm oil from destroyed rainforests - which they've now done. Would they have made any changes without that pressure - er, no, of course not. Sorry if the video offended you, but at least you now know what goes into making a KitKat.
Incidentally Nestlé's supplier, Sinar Mas, IS the worst offender in terms of Indonesian deforestation. "

so, the video is a bit irrelevant now :)

My 12yr old son has been buying packets of these and flogging them to class mates for 40pence each he has made well over twenty pounds these last few weeks, will have to tell him to stock up, saving me pocket money. :-)

Yeah its their supplier that the problem, last I heard Nestle said they'd stop destroying rainforests in 2015, so I'll start buying Kitkat's in 2015.

They seem to have begun agressively marketing ever since this video and their numerous mistakes in relation to it, so clearly it's had an affect on sales too.

A man walks into a petrol station and says, "Can I please have a KitKat Chunky?"

The lady behind the till gets him a KitKat Chunky and brings it back to him.

"No," says the man, "I wanted a normal KitKat, you fat bitch."

He's overcharging, can't see why he would have sold over 70 at this price. 25p is the sweet spot (no pun intended) - 150% profit for the seller and a bargain for the buyer

I want one!

Well since this offer hasn't started he would've been getting them for 20p each so if he sold them at 25p he would've made £3.50 profit as opposed to £14, if he can sell them at this price then he might aswell, it's supply and demand :-D
#36
If you are overweight I recommend you don't buy these.
