Thanks first time I've put something on so bit new to this thanks
Seems alright, although quite why anyone would need a 9MP camera is beyond me!

No worries mate...let's hope this is the first of many!
9mp on a smaller sensor is pointless tbh
id advise, getting the nikon s200 7mp, lithium battery and smaller with VR
Seems a great price!, I've got an 8mp samsung now, Its very good, Even taking (quick) sport shots its ok!
BiGaNd - please read the help threads in my signature. Individual items should be posted as a "product" so that a price shows up in the post - I've added the price and retailer name to the thread title now :)

I've just had printed some really good quality photos 18" x 12" from a 5MP Canon A540. Unless you are going to seriously crop your images 9MP is totally over the top. It is FAR more important to get a camera with a really good lens. Either one of the Fuji F series or a Canon would I suspect take much better pictures with a lower resolution. I'd always check for online reviews before buying any digital camera.

One of my favourites is Steve's Digicams
Agreed Mike...good post.;-)
