Awesome! Just called up and they can offer the 900 mins and unlimited txts and landline for £12.50, cant seem to persuade them to give me the free phone, but got a reference number for it so gonna call them back later. Either way this is amazing even if it is for 24months. Doubt there'll be an offer like this for over a year anyway! By the way mention to them that your friend has just gone on this offer and I had to say I was thinking of changing networks as I think this is at their discretion.

caution....
There were lots of complaints regarding the mis-sell of contracts by vodafone. just check the thread on MSE and it speaks volumes of it.
Most of the times it happens that the discount offered is not for life but only for a few months...albeit you been told its for life of the contract.......

I agree. Better get a written confirmation before the end of cooling period.

I woulndt touch them even if they paid me, ive had nothin but hassle from the stupid B######s since feb this year, telling me i owe them £300+ for a handset and 12month contract i cancelled within 24hrs of signing upto! Ringing me up ,sending me bad debt letters , after me spending hours talking to them and they tell me its cancelled only to receive more demands every few months. i finally sent a letter of complaint recorded delivery to demand a letter stating that its the end of the matter as recommended by trading standards! And not once have they offered an apology:x

seems a cracking deal

terrible deal

how ? is it the basic handset? or their CS?
i thought most of the networks are offering fewer mins for more money compared to this particular deal
..£20 for 600 mins seems to be the going rate on the o2 simplicity , TMob solo type deals which granted don't tie you to a 24 mth contract & sometimes throw in a really basic phone
I'd therefore have thought for 900 mins @ £12.50 it's a good deal.
I get 900 mins on tmobile & even with friends & family half price line rental discount I still pay £17.50 a month
unless as already pointed out the £12.50 may be a discounted offer for a limited period

hi if there is a better deal available then please do tell us!!!

signed up up this deal and got the Sony Erricson c510 free and unlimited internet all for £15 a month. The only catch with this deal is that after 21 months they will charge you £25 per month but you can then upgrade your contract in the last 90 days... Think it's great but vodafone do forget to tell you this last bit! In this offer they have Nokia 6300, Sony erriccson c510 and W595 as well.

Phoned up to ask about the deal and at first he didn't know anything about it:( When I said my mate had been given the deal he asked if I could hold the line so that he could enquiry about the deal and get the go ahead. 2 mins later he came back and said that he could offer me the deal but with no free phone. I have asked for deal in writing so fingers crossed anything should be ok. 900 Xnet mins, Unlimited txt, Unlimited Landline for £12.50 for 21 months and £25 for last 3 months you can't go wrong on Vodafone aswell so best reception. Cheers for posting and sharing:)

But if you just go for the sim only deal i presume you should be ok as it looks like they only charge higher monthly fee last 3 months of contract if you have opted for a phone in original deal.

Have you a link to this thread, cant find it
can anyone else confirm they have got this deal? (minus the phone)

They offered the deal minus the handset and said the handset would cost £50 for any of the ones previoously mentioned.

Any ideas or contacts who might honour the deal?

Why not just take the sim deal? At least they wont double your last 3 monthly payments which they do if you take a phone with the deal.If you still want a phone ring on Monday ,last day of the month, targets to be met, so you may get it then if you try 2/3 different operators but get them to email/post you confirmation of deal before your stuck on the contract.

the discount to £12.50 is only for 21 months. If they told you it's the full 24 months, they lied.

But I will call back to cancel, see if I can get the free handset that way.

Hey I got this deal back in July - I paid £55 extra for Nokia 5800! I also got the mobile internet service for £2.50 p/m after complaining to them for mis-selling (saying it's 24 months 1/2 price). Looks great - remember to be nice to the agent who takes your call...
