lol i must make the 400+ mile round trip to save 2p a litre :P
at last the price is dropping quickly though, at $70 a barrel we should be down to 90p a litre fairly soon with a bit of luck
edit: if it was 0.979 pence a litre i may consider the long drive though lol. under a penny a litre :D

Yeah - I agree but for those users in the area - a good deal bit like the currys TV saga this week drive 100's miles to save a few £s - but relevant for those close by,

Tescos (Sprowston) and Asda (Hellesdon) = Norwich both 99.9

Still cheaper than last week!

My Tesco was 106.9p a week ago. Don't know what it is today, but I doubt it is 102.9 yet. They're the real cheeky *****!

No it isn't cheap its damn expensive.
I'll call it cheap when it falls below 80p per litre like it should be.

We are ripped off for fuel prices in this country, this should be voted ice cold. How silly can people be thinking £0.98 is good value per llitre.
The oil companies and the government should not be making so much on fuel.

Seeing as we one this site are the ones looking for it cheaper, can I suggest you are getting at the LAST people who would disagree!

We are all just trying to pay the lowest we can, perhaps if I was starting my lifetime over again I would have time and maybe the inclination to stand for Parliament, and put pressure on whatever was most likely to support my interests, but as I stand now, the location of the nearest petrol with the lowest prices is about as much as I can do about it, as well as think very hard about where the "X" goes when the time comes along again, as useless as that seems to be :-(

As useful as I find it, a political soapbox is about the last thing this site is!

Can the retards who keep moaning that fuel is expensive and these price drops are not "deals" please remember--WE BLOODY KNOW PRICES ARE TOO HIGH AND THE UK GOVERNMENT ARE FLEECING US-BUT A PRICE DROP IS BETTER THAN A RISE SO PLEASE GIVE OVER FFS

I really don't know why the price of petrol in your local garage need to go on here. It is not a deal, there are no special discounts, everyone is aware of the fuel prices in the area. If you use fuel then you will pass the garages every day so can see the current prices. If everyone posted the local fuel prices on here then nothing else would be posted.
By the way my local Shell garage is 99.9p for UL, if it changes at all I will post the price for everyone in the country to see.

Much the same - I certainly don't drive past every petrol station within a few hundred yards of the various routes I drive - there could be a 3p per litre saving waiting for me, with little or no increase in distance. Keep up the good work folks - yes a 99.9 local posting would be OTT, but 2p less than anywhere else seems cool to me - even if it would cost me hundreds of pounds to get there. Voting hot!

Wow! It'll be at least a day until every other petrol vendor follows suit!

Its because of the guys that call us moaners that oil companies and government charge these prices so easy, because they know you will just accept it.When the price of fuel is at a very unfair price and then it drops a few pence we should be happy,When oil was at its hightest at $148.00 a barrel we paid for it,but now it is down to $68.00 a barrel we are not seeing the benefits they way we should be.Plus we will be paying more for eg things electric, food, and so because of this.take my word for it when evrything settles down again, you can restasure the prices we payed before all this will not return to what they were. This is the rip off.:santa:
