And from what I've heard, so is Push. But at least that's not a Uwe Boll film...

Great find mate.

Eden Lake is without doubt one of the best Horror/Thrillers I'm ever seen. And I'll use the usual cliche, I've seen a lot. ;)

Watched The Pianist for the first time the other week and I highly recommend it, very moving film and what the guy went through is unbelievable. Truly one of the best films I have ever seen and a bargain at 97p.

Well spoilered there! No part of the plot revealed whatsoever. Well done!

Its a scary film because the youth of today are probably near the stage of thinking that sort of behaviour is OK.

You think I like that thing???????

Spoiler deleted.....although I did put Contains Spoiler at the start of the post to warn anybody.

I suppose so, but personally I don't consider that entertainment.

>> You think I like that thing?

I should have said 'If you like watching that kind of stuff'.

Okay, so you don't like the film. Is that any reason to post a load of spoilers for people who haven't seen it. Duh!

Spot on. Along with the fact the movie is very well crafted with menace heightened further because you genuinely feel for the two main characters, is the knowledge that this could quite easily happen.

I'll have to pop in my local shop next time I'm in town.

Maybe to warn people who don't like watching that kind of thing that it may not be to everbodies taste. Duh!
#32
I believe the OP, but Eden Lake was £6 in my local SE London store

Possible? Are you kidding? The film has more holes in it than a sieve.

SPOILER!

The main one being this. The ending implies that the kid and his family get away with the murders. Yet there is dna evidence all over the woods. Numerous dead bodies and evidence of torture. The asian boy, quiet, bookish. Are we supposed to believe that he doesn't tell his parents where he goes and he's not home by a reasonable hour? That they wouldn't be searching the area even before the lad comes along in the van?

Absolutely garbage film. The director tries to take the audience for idiots.
