Newcastle to Stavanger

DFDS has just released a fantastic 3-night Norwegian city cruise break for a super-low £99 per person. This bumper package includes 2 nights onboard the Queen of Scandinavia ship, a nights B&B in the coastal city of Stavanger, an excursion to Pulpit Rock, transfers and all taxes and supplements. Phew!

Departing from Newcastle, youll sail overnight to Stavanger with accommodation in a two-berth inside cabin. On arrival, youll be transferred to the 3-star Thon Hotel Maritim, allowing for plenty of time to explore the city.

The price also includes an excursion to Pulpit Rock, a stunning natural rock formation (along with coffee and snacks on the trip!), before making your overnight journey home.

The offer is available to book on 15 December 2007, and 12 January, 16 February, 29 March and 14 June 2008. But you'll need to book before 17 October to snap up this offer. The offer is also available on the following dates from an extra £5pp: 24 November, 19 April and 17 May.

Is this something anyone else has been on before? Surely they just make a mint from meal prices or is there anything alternative on board?
