03/03/10 UPDATE By chance, I noticed my submit has re-appeared in the "Hottest All Time" list (!). So you dont have to trawl through all the deal comments, I'd recommend that you call the Holiday Inn which you think would be a great Wedding venue and ask what their current deal is. Mention that you've seen the £999 deal and see what price they offer. You've nothing to lose. All the best, Jez.

April 09 - Saw this in the News of the World this morning. Couldnt find much mention of the offer on the Holiday Inn website and I didnt want to enquire further cos me Mrs would start asking questions. Go to www.newsoftheworld.co.uk and search £999 wedding or use the link provided on the 1st comments page.

What a great idea for people on a budget or those who don't want a celebrity-wannabe wedding.

subsoniccoyote#10
This is a competition though, not a deal.

There happens to be a competition to win the £999 deal. But the £999 deal is a deal.

No... it's deal. Read the article.
Think you're getting confused cos NOTW have teamed up with HI to offer the £999 deal as a prize too.

I might marry myself at this bargain price! It'll be the HUKD wedding of the year :)

Sounds like its a competition....am I understanding correctly??

Sorry i've re-read it and understand now lol

Have some heat here too, however I think some of the things like disco and DJ @ £850 and catering @ £50 a head for sausage rolls and sarnies are grossly overpriced.

Hi I'm new to threads on this website. My fiance and I have booked a £999 wedding. This deal is pretty amazing. My local Holiday Inn (Fareham) were only offering it on Fridays but that is ok with us. Was impressed how nice the hotel was too.
