Britannia Hotels are offering Weddings for only £999.00. This price includes a Wedding Breakfast for 50 guests with a Bucks Fizz on arrival. The Wedding Breakfast is a 3 Course Meal unlike the Holiday Inn Offer of Drinks and Snacks.
An Evening Buffet for 100 guests is included in the Britannia Hotels package unlike the Holiday Inn offer of Hotpot.
I have called Britannia Hotels and have booked this at The Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool which has some fantastic function suites.

The Adelphi is a total dive.

Think this will be a popular one, No offence to anyone having a holiday inn wedding but Brittania just sounds more classy and although i have never stayed in one of their hotels I have holiday inn lol!
£999 is a brill price, heat and rep added LaserLad, enjoy your wedding x

Wooahh i added heat but it had dived majorly, bit unfair seeing as they have around 20 plus hotels listed?!

Yeah the Adelphi is a bit of dive to stay there, especially the price they charge, but the function suites are beautiful and last time I ate there the restaurant was good. Plus it's right in the centre of town so people have no problems getting there. Ditto for the Britania in Manchester.
I've already booked my daughter's wedding next year at a Mercure hotel and I thought I was getting a good deal for £3600 for a similar spec so this is a very good deal

The Adelphi hotel itself is beautiful, lovely venue to marry I imagine, however the hotel rooms are very out of date, although certainly not dirty, same for the britania in manchester.

This looks like a cracking deal, to be honest.

Yes, the bedrooms look basic but they also look clean. The function rooms look great.

Just because it's not "modern" doesn't mean it's a bad hotel! In fact I think it's got something that most other Hotels don't have and that's character.

I'm sure you'll have a great day!

Heat added..

Got married myself just under a year ago and remember looking around venues in around Coventry/Warwickshire. The Britannia Hotel was one such place. Price was competitive, but didn't take long to realise why - nothing there had been updated since about 1973, apart from the ground floor and external areas. The banquet hall was a great size and layout, but just really shabby and the 'Bridal Suite', my gosh, I've seen tramps' dens that have been tidier. I've since heard a number of stories about food poisoning from various people as well.

They may well have sorted it all out since then, if that's the case, I stand corrected. Shame really, as when I got wed, it would have been super-convenient to have the reception in the middle of the City Centre, right next to the cathedral.
