ninja scroll 15 dvd tin boxset for £9.99 is amazing
#2
some other highlights are: Black Lagoon Volume 3 for £3.99 and you can get the whole of Daphne in the Brilliant Blue (6 volumes) for £11.94 (£10.90 if you get vol 5 from base.com where it's slightly cheaper), 3/4's of Paranoia Agent for £2.97 just need to find volume 2 elsewhere to complete the set as they don't seem to have that one in stock.

What would anyone recommend for an 8 year old girl? She loves Tokyo Mew Mew, Pretty Cure and been watching Shugo Chara online? I don't have much of a clue really. She's into drawing them too. She's not bothered about Japanese with subtitles either.

From that lot not much really, it's mostly for an older audience or boys...Maybe Adventures Of Mini Goddess or Oh My Goddess?

If she just wants to watch something try Chi's Sweet Home, it's not been released on DVD over here but you can check it out (legally) on Crunchyroll http://www.crunchyroll.com/chis-sweet-home

Infact anything in their kids section would be suitable: http://www.crunchyroll.com/showtag?tag=kids&type=2

Thanks, I'll take a look, I don't really know much about this stuff, her older brother is into it too, so some of the older stuff may be okay for him, but it's a minefield lol

I'll give that a go though, thanks again.

Just had a look and think that may be the site where she watches Shugo Chara lol.. Couldn't remember which one it was.

I almost forgot Haibane Renmei was in there, that is excellent! You can get the whole series boxset here: http://www.anime-on-line.com/xcart/product.php?productid=18503&cat=0&page=1 although iirc it is a 12....EDIT: cheaper here: http://www.zavvi.com/dvd/haibane-renmei-thin-pack-box-set/9991511.html, EDIT 2: Scratch that get volume 2 (99p) and 4 (99p) from Anime-On-Line, and volume 1 (£4.85) and 3 (£4.85) from Zavvi or The Hut and the whole lot's only £11.98

There's loads of stuff her brother would like I suspect, how old is he? Black Lagoon is perfect for a teenage boy: http://www.anime-on-line.com/xcart/product.php?productid=21628&cat=0&page=1

Tenchi Muyo is great, would recommend you all watch that series. Very funny!

By the way this budget selection seems to be on the website constantly as I brought the Tenchi one about 5 months ago.
Cannot complain as this is a great deal

at a glance lain and paranoia agent have caught my attention (i like the mindfucks, though not watched either in years, still need to replace my lain fansubbed VHS). tsukihime isn't bad (not a jot on original story) but rest is stuff thats a bit old school and not aged too well like.

and black lagoon is bloomin' good but a tad adult (in a dark and mature way, not a silly blood and **** way for the most part), still i wouldn't order it if i didn't know where to pick up rest of t'2 seasons

Heat added; but they often have these 99p offers (maybe not always, but every time I've looked). I'm still waiting to complete Paranoia Agent and Chobits, but I did get Haibane Renmei for around £6 in the end.
