99p for A Printed T-Shirt @ Vista Print

Got a flyer with my Play.com order for Vistaprint saying only 99p for a T-Shirt with a photo on it.
Had a thought and went on Deviantart and downloaded my fave comic book picture from there and made myself a t-shirt with that (they will accept any picture of a decent resolution).
Considering play sell comic book t-shirts for at least £5 thought I might as well give it a go.

Wasnt expecting too much but when I got it today I was over the moon. Excellent quality print and fabric is really comfortable.

For 99p you cant go wrong!!

Is there a delivery charge on this? Just I've often found the delivery charges hidden away at the end of their ordering process.

Did you make sure to untick the box on Vista that allows them to take monthly amounts from your bank account, I think it's to pay for your 'subscription' for cheaper shipping or something.

did you need permission from the Arist on Deviant Art before using their work?

Stay alert with Vistaprint - or better still, stay away.

99p plus delivery cost. So the cheapest you'll get it is £4.07 after a 21 day wait with economy postage.

Delivery costs:
Economy: 21 Days - £3.08
Standard: 14 Days - £5.20
Priority: 7 Days - £8.07
Rush+: 3 Business Days (with order tracking) - £14.95
Express*: 2 Business Days - £18.69

Delivery will freeze this deal.

bye bye t shirt

The postage was free on my order, and I got it after 5 days, they emailed me saying they had posted it early. Also I didnt have to untick anything, there is no subscription on this.

No I didn't get permission - as the person who had posted it didn't own the image, he inked a pencil uploaded by the artist. Plus its in the public domain, freely available to download so no copyright issue. Anyway his signature is on the drawing though to credit him with the art.

Plus the t-shirts are a horrible style/fit. Really uncomfortable. I have two and I never wear them

I would not bother posting vistaprint, its just people that use them tend to love them others hate them and vote them down ,
its a case of working their ( vistaprint ) system to get good deals, if you do its great,, if not then it can be costly
thanks for making the effort to post though,

True, my second full price order came to quite a bit, but that was a special one for a prezzie. So wasn't too fussed. They sneak extra costs here and there plus they add tax on to it too.

As this deal is getting colder by the minute, can anyone suggest a decent cheapo 1-off t-shirt printing company?

Ignore the comments, Vistaprint aren't as bad as they are making out. You simply won't beat the price (£4.07 delivered - you'll struggle to find even a plain tshirt for that little). The designs are sprayed on and not transferred and the t-shirt brand is 'Anvil' which is 100% cotton. The 21 day economy delivery has always been delivered in under 10 days. I've had one shirt for 2 years now and it's still in great condition, not shrunk or anything.
Only downside is the amount of emails they send out. Not totally a bad thing because a lot of them are good offers so I don't bother unsubscribing. beansy's comment about a monthly subscription hasn't been relevant for years - there are (unticked) checkboxes to add things like mugs, calendars during checkout but anyone with the mental capacity of a chimp will be able to leave them unticked if they don't want them...

I have ordered twice from vistaprint
they are good.
I chose 21 days delivery but ended up they delivered within 10days
What I bought is just those free product tho if you upload your own design which may need to add a quid or sth.

The tshirts are fine. They are from a big brand company from US.
Quality is good as well

btw
it does offer free tshirt + postage instead of 99p + postage
#16
Yeah I just saw that offer in my parcel - hmmm might try and partake in that little offer aswell.
#17
can you have any words printed on them !?
#18
no.only certain ones.
#19
not sure why this is so cold...

each to their own

What, like 'My Other Amps an Onkyo'

Forgot. Have some heat OP.
I've had photo calendars from Vistaprint and they were good value. E-mails are annoying and the web-site too pushy but can't argue with the deals.

try reordering by going from the link in your 1st email, it will give you the same offer, as I said if you work their system, ignore expiry dates as most offers work from email which is where to get the bargains

Well I've taken a punt and ordered one, hope it lives up to the OP
