customs charges would make this about £10 dearer should you be that unfortunate.

These are less than £20 on ebay from Chinese/HK suppliers. The scroll wheel works well and the tilting to switch the screen aspect is okay so long as you don't twitch (cos it flips back then back again), but once you select an option (eg music), the control system is poor and very unintuitive (it reverts back to the usual menu system you get on cheap chinese mp3 players). It also only pays AMV videos.

You get what you pay for, and for less than £20 its pretty good.

These are well known for being made of poor quaility components and fail easily, and they also lie about the size of storage capacity too. bought a 8gb in the past to find out it was modded to make it look like it was 8gb when it was only really 1gb. And interface will usually be in chinese.

Pay the extra for an ipod IMO

Just search for 16gb mp4 on ebay. However, be aware on some of them the scroll wheel doesn't work as a scroll wheel, and to be honest I can't see one which is clearly got a working scroll wheel at the mo. However, I can see the 8GB is £18 on buy it now, but lower if you are prepared to buy on auction (I got an 8GB for £13.80 delivered). Eg. http://*********.co.uk/8GB-Touch-Shakable-MP3-MP4-Player-1-8-LCD-FM-Video-SL_W0QQitemZ300365237566QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_MP3_Players?hash=item45ef29cd3e

Takes about 10 days to arrive and it is sent on tracked delivery.

Apple are known to use poor parts also (Which? review) but yet you are happy to pay out for them (can't quote customer service also as they have been fined recently due to recent bad performance - Which? again)

i must be 1 of the only 1's who voted hot! LOL

probably getting voted cold because they are expecting a REAL nano for £40

IMHO its cheap for a 16GB mp3 player. you can usually get a 4GB from netto/aldi for £30, but that again is cheap make.

Thats a DK clone, the best "clone" there is. The images on Focal Price for the box dont show DK on them, so it may not be as good as that. Not a bad price, assuming it aint hacked.

Ah, but the DK clone has a logo on back of player (forum images). This one does not (product images). Could easily be same insides though (from same factory).

How do you know the focalprice model is the same as in the youtube link?
The packaging is clearly totally different.

There are lots of these generic chinese mp3 players. Most don't have the functions shown in the youtube video. Typical problems:
Widespread problem of the players hacked to show they have more memory than they actually have.
crap battery life ( often less than 4 hours )
poor sound ( background noise)
videos have to be in AMV format ( poor quality and uses a lot of memory)

I bought one from ebay and it had all of the above problems.

Buy a second hand Sansa fuze from ebay - miles better

Oh and the sound quality is poor too ( expect background noise ).

So well known that you failed to back up the argument or even mention who the actual manufacturer is.
Lazy bullying?

Looks a brilliant price so do they weigh 3 tonnes?
Are focalprice of decent reputation?

I only voted hot because most negative comments seem to appear illegitimate.
