These are £1 a bag at Lidl this weekend - obviously a better deal if you only want 1 bag - but not everyone is near a Lidl - and if you don't mind getting 2 bags - this works out the same price.

£1.79 a bag at Asda & Sainsburys

This is a better deal for me as we aren't near a Lidl - anyway love these potatoes :)

We only buy these now as they are consistently good - move over maris piper and king edward your days are numbered.

Not really - same price per kilo, if you wanted 2 bags, you're not paying any more than you would at Lidl.

i don't doubt it - they are a rule unto themselves !

i wonder if they are price matching - there is an ad on the telly saying they guarantee you won't pay more than anywhere else over Christmas ?

real challenger for maris pipers for roasts and mash , if you havent tried these potatoes get in there at this price, fantastic texture and easy to cook ;)

Get to your local farm shop and get some bought. You will not believe the difference (and they will be as cheap if not cheaper too).
