A Brother Colour - Printer, Scanner, Copier and Fax .... also pic-bridge support - for approx £20

It's been sold by IJTDIRECT, they are giving it away for "free" (their words not mine), when you buy three sets of ink cartridges .... when you use the discount code it costs £55.71 (Delivered). Effectivly you can buy the ink (clone's from other companies) for around £12 a set, so I view it as costing me only £20 (delivered) !!

I bought mine, and it was delivered Friday, a great unit, print quality is great, easy to use, neat, fantastic range of features, has a "fax-switch" built in (to route fax/non-fax calls), uses 4 colour cartridges - so should be cheep to run too - only moan would be the fragile paper-feed tray ....

A fantastic deal .... hope it helps someone out there ....

hmm so its not 20 quid, total cost is what we need and its above 50 quid. plus im a little skeptical when a deal such as the way this works comes from someone new nevertheless i have voted it cold because its gonna cost me more than 20 quid.

good luck and welcome to the site.

Me too but we all have to start somewhere?!?!?

How does the OP arrive at £20 for this offer?

56-36 = £20

I know i'm new .... so be gentle with me .... I've been on MSE for ages if anyone wants to check me out (STAR1) .... !! ;-) .... i've also posted the same deal there ....

How it get to £20 is rather simple .... the printer with 10% discount code costs £55.71, if you were to buy three sets of ink at £12 thats £36 .... then deduct the 2 you get £20 .... simple eh? ;-)

Anyone who buys a printer is going to need ink anyway .... so you're just buying some "up-front" and making a significant saving on the device .... if you beleive IJT's claim for prices of Ink, they say it's free .... I would agrue against that - as you can purchase clone ink for less (ie - around the £12 for a set, that I suggested) ....

Simple .... Printer price £55.71
Three sets of ink (that you can purchase for approx £12 a set) = £36
Minus the 2 .... you get £20 !!

Hmmm, a series of too many extra charges and variables.

I might be new here, but the offer is rather simple and my origional posting rather straightforward to understand .... it's genuine too !! - I don't work for IJT !!

You buy a package that includes a printer and more ink than you would get normally (if you bought the printer alone) .... given that you would need to buy some ink, while you owned/used the unit anyway - all you're doing is buying more ink "up-front" .... therefore deduct this from the price that you would have paid for the "unit - only" price .... there are no "extra charges and variables" !!

It's my intention to help with details of a genuine offer, not confuse people .... (it's not that hard to work out? - or is it?) ;-)

I dunno, if you're after one of these the price isn't so bad. I prefer to look at it as a £55 printer (which is a reasonable enough price for one of these) with three free sets of carts. It's all semantics at the end of the day.

Given that the best price for one of these printers is £45 plus post, the three sets of ink carts are pretty much free.

I'm actually fairly tempted because I need a fax machine and also need to be able to auto-detect voice/non-voice calls.

£12 for a set of inks for this model is not cheap also these are prone to jamming due to the inadequate paper tray which has been changed in later models I couldnt recommend this printer to anyone. The Dcp-135c is a far better printer and cheaper although it does not have the fax function.

check out your local Ryman shop for deals on Brother printers and ink.co.uk for very cheap ink cartridges.

Did you change the price to £55.71?

voted hot, that is a cheap printer with 3 free sets of ink!

voted hot. Good first deal, spoiled by people doubting your (OP) integrity as opposed to the deal. Got this printer meself and for £55 + 3 sets of ink, its a decent price.
