+1 How many ppl actually get it free?

Although this one plays mkv, it's a steep price increase for a no-name player over the non-mkv players. You have to decide if it's worth that.
#4
I wouldnt say AC Ryan is a no-name player.

Them and Mede8er are at the top for Realtek players.
#5
+1. AC Ryan is well famous name. Guess you are not in to digital media player. This one is one of the best media player out there and much better than WD
#6
AC Ryan is a massive name in the media player circuit.

I just bought 2 from scan with the wireless dongle and free delivery (192 quid in total) to get my house streaming away.

I've no experience of the DVR version but I've heard they are in the final stages of testing the nice shiny UI used in the DVR for use with this. This also has good Yamj movie jukebox support.

does anyone know if any of these actually record on the page as sumvisions you can get them a lot cheaper and record. Ok sumvisions are not as well recognised as these but the record function is a bonus if your going to spend a certain amount of money
