Buy 2 cans in Tesco(82p each), save 26p and hand deliver to your friend - cold from me

I'm confused, why's this a good deal?

Ok maybe there's some novelty value, but I can't really see how this is a 'deal' as such.
bigwelsh 5 Likes #11
No, we all know those people who are always ill and moaning. You buy it in advance and order it to yourself. Then make sure you don't eat it and present it to them more instantly ... Simples.
uggla 5 Likes #12
I think this is a nice present actually you can spend more on a card.

Of course this is a good deal.

A tin of soup delivered to your door for under 2 quid. Staggering value ;)
Sparkles#15
Shame about the postage delay, they'd probably be better in 4 days. I wish there was something more instant. :)

Especially as you can get 5 cans of soup delivered for less than the cost of a Dominos pizza!

Take a tipex correction pen to a standard tin of tomato soup and go nuts.

You suffer from black'n'whiteitus. Perhaps you should order yourself some soup :)

Great idea, I love things like this, my father in law is going in for an op soon so ive got him one off the kids.

If you post a get well card by first class post, you'll be lucky if it gets there in 3-4 days. I'd rather have a can of soup than a card , and it does state it is personalised, so it's a very nice gesture

Knowing the state of some hospital food, if you send him one can a day it could end up being a real life-saver ;)

Lol yeah, I've sent it to my house as he doesn't go in for a couple of weeks. Can get a few other goodies in a bag for him then.

You'd take soup off a child - isn't that abuse? ;)

Cold from me, just spend time and effort giving your friend the nickname Heinz over many years and then buy 4 cans when they're 2 quid. Save a fortune

Great idea and well worth £1.99 in my opinion.

Some people are saying just buy a can for less and take it to your ill friend but when the person who in my case is my wife's nan lives 2hrs away then this to me is a brilliant idea.
A.Fudge#30
Are these the cans that have gone out of date? Print a new label with a new date, If the recipient falls ill it was because they were ill in the first place.

I think this is a lovely gesture. Ordered one for my g/f who currently isn't well and no doubt will be better by the time it arrives. But that's not the point.

A great deal for Heinz. Expanding their customer base and not even having to pay for it! Voting hot nevertheless. The smile i'll receive from this is worth much more than the additional revenue that Heinz will receive.
davej1710#36
Peel the label off a normal tin of Heinz soup and design your own label.

wow 500 deg of heat for this lol 8)

I know it's all unique and customised and everything but I still can't justify a can of soup for £1.99.

I think some people are missing the point here, a can of personalised soup delivered to my nan who lives over 80miles away for less than £2 is good value to me.

If you want to buy a can of soup for yourself then nip to your local shop and buy one for 40p......if you want to send a get well gesture to a loved one miles away then you buy this.

Of course not, they just buy a plain piece of card as its only 5p. Why would anyone want a card with a message on it ?
