Just been into my local Sainsburys and they look nothing like that photo! I also went into tesco and M&S and they were the same!

For an actual decent looking bunch your looking at £20-£25

With this in mind i thought im not paying that much for roses so instead bought the missus a single red rose (a big one!) which was £4.99 and donated the rest of the money i would of spent on roses for her to St Anns Hospice where she lost her Dad last year to cancer!

Advertised on page 18 of todays "Sun". This is the only image of Fairtrade Dozen Red roses that I could find. Nothing on Sainsburys website.

I saw the same advert in todays Sun too and thought i bet they don't look anything like that.

Can't we go in there and buy them(or say something before buying them) and say that they are nothing like the picture they advertised in the paper/s?

even cheaper if you wait till late on when they need to shift what they have left:-D

Yup, they are ********, if I gave those roses to the missus she'll probably give me a few big slaps (and not in the good way).

But then again, nothing is free, and if they were decent roses they could sell them for £20.

I bought an excellent bunch of valentine flowers at LIDL for £9.99 and they are as fresh looking as the day I bought them, which ain't bad as they spent the whole of the first day in the boot of my car.....:whistling::-D
