its not a good deal its just by chance that the wrong label was on them we aint all gonna get a pair of shoes for £1. you just got a bit of luck

Primark do this all the time, I got some men’s socks they were £1.00 for six pairs but @ the till they were 10p Assistant confirmed the price, I got a few more:-D
They reduce item’s @ the till and don’t bother to change the price on the shopfloor

Still a good deal though. ther are those on here who really do need to get a life. Thanks OP for your post, there may well be those who wanted to get these. Exactly what this site is about.

was thinking the same...the OP obviously has good intentions but its clearly not good enough for some. Exactly the reason why i NEVER post deals on here anymore.

Yep, you need to be brave to post deals, especially if you are new - the joy some numbskulls take it pointing out that you didn't put the price in the header (and therefore have to move your eyes 3" to the right to see it) or that someone already posted it 3 weeks ago is just vile.

I've actually found some of the best deals for me were reposts where I had missed the original posting completely so why is the deal at -77 degrees? It's a deal or it isn't. Whether or not it was posted before shouldn't be the one and only criteria to vote on.

Well done to riteondeals for sharing her good fortune, it may be exactly what someone wanted to read. What is amazing on here is the number of people who jump straight in to say the dvd player you posted (for example) is cheaper elsewhere and therefore they voted cold. The difference is, you shared yours, they kept theirs to themselves, only to bring it out as a deal wrecker.

thank you OP, I am sure this may help someone. Please ignore idiot comments on this site. this site is MEANT to be all about posting deals regardless if it may or may not be a one off. The OP has taken the time to post so a little appreciation would be nice.

omg i just wasted 2 mins of my life reading this post, and i was hoping it led to more info on the shoes................... :P only joking.......But i totally agree the posts are usually "attacks" on the deal rather than compliments, look at my tesco cola truck for example............ i wont be posting deals again either after that....... a 3 page argument over the fact i never put tesco in the header? omg

I posted my first deal on here yesterday, but I've put off submitting anything after reading some of the comments you can get if something isn't quite right etc etc. However I did give it a go and thankfully it went okay, but I'd still be wary again. I often miss out on deals, so the fact someone re posts it for me is a good thing. I've got the majority of my Christmas gifts through deals on this site and it's great, but some people can be just a little bit scary and obsessive over the smallest details.

Good deal if you need this : )

This is for Lakeside, in particular. You have restored my faith in human nature and for that I thank you. I have only put up a few deals because of the unbelievably sour, sarcastic and downright ignorance of some people who use this site. The site could be brilliant but it seems to me a lot of grumpy old farts are sitting at their computers 24/7 just waiting to pounce on people and tear them to shreds - for what - for daring to try and be helpful and share a bargain they have found with the rest of us. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!! Lets have a new years resolution to all be a little kinder and more tolerant, that way we will probably all have a chance of getting the better bargains that are out there. Sorry for the rant.

Give her a break. If this is everywhere then it's a good deal but she's got no way of knowing.

hot! Not that I'd ever wear sequined shoes at my ripe age but there's some sensible comments in this thread, and it's reminded me to go and have a poke around Primark, haven't been in there for years :)
